I agree with the mix ups. She could use a light-heavy and heavy-heavy combo to further flow with her other combos and moves. As a rep 25 valk main, I can highly say that valk is trash. Everything she does is punishable. Simply blocking her side dash or top dash = free gb dodging the shield bash = free gb, dodge sweep = free gb. legit dodge her light and if you're raider with a quick gb then its free, I'm not saying to not get a free gb if you dodge them, but what I am saying is give her something that's not risky. All her combos are super risky, Simply dodge or block, and it could mean instant death. What I would like is to get rid of the free gb when you block her side dash, make it so I can continue my combos if they don't parry, make the second light faster, if you deflect you can do 40 or so damage, but that's a "If". She doesnt have enough combo follow ups, its either light light heavy, or heavy light. That's litteraly all she has. if she could also get a light into a heavy combo and a heavy, heavy combo, that'll make her so much better. I'm not asking to make her godlike like shamen. But just bring her up a notch. Don't forget about shugoki. I'm still waiting for his buff or rework.

She doesn't really have any decent openers besides her heavy-shield bash mixup, which isn't really that safe compared to other similar characters. Her dash attacks are either the same speed or slower than shaman's, and are significantly riskier (similar to glad but since she doesn't have the punch I could understand making it safer for her and not glad). On top of that, her deflect isn't really anything incredible since she doesn't have any guaranteed mixups off of it and isn't a crazy amount of damage (I'd assume just from thinking about it that it does 30 damage or so).
Really the only "advantage" valkyrie has is her insane gb headbutt mixup, which admittedly is her highest damaging combo. The issue I have with her as an opponent is how one parry = guaranteed dashing gb, guaranteed fully charged headbutt into mixup for like 60 damage or so. Off a parry, that headbutt pretty much guarantees that your stamina will be zero and you'll be unbalanced. As soon as the parry changes go into effect and gb is no longer guaranteed on parry, Valkyrie's only real strength is negated almost completely.
Giving her a light-heavy combo would make her more viable with her current tools, since currently the only options she has is a heavy-light, heavy-shield bash, or light-light combo. Not really anything special. However, adding a light-heavy combo would need to be a bit faster since her heavies are a bit slower than you'd expect.
I think all assassins or people with deflects need to have better rewards for it, so either something needs to be guaranteed off the shoulder pin or it simply needs to do more damage.
In addition, I think you should be able to do a leg sweep after a missed shield bash. I'm not sure if you can do that currently, but nobody does so I assume you can't.

Maybe she could get a parry counter to circumvent the "no GB after parry changes". A parry counter which works like the Ram's Headbutt and knocks a person down if they go out of stamina.

Shoulder Pin is a very high risk, low reward move. The risk is even greater now that there are so many soft feints in the game. You just never know if an attack is real or not until it's to late.
