    Balanced weapon talent

    Hallo,
    As sniper rifles become popular this days due to classified hunter's faith gear set came to the light, i decided to try it in pvp.
    I run two sniper rifles, one with balanced talent for a close combat and another one without balanced for normal sniping.

    Balanced talent description looks like "The weapon reaches max accuracy faster when shouldering", so because of that i use it on my second sniper rifle to "quickscope" people in close range, but seems like it work only if u stay still or use cover.

    So my question is, does it work like intended? Because if it does, its completely useless in my opinion if u can't use it on-the-move.

    One obvious issue with your methodology is that in test #1 and #2 you introduced factor of aiming while moving, as in the first test you first sprinted before aiming while in the 2nd you sidestepped to ADS, it is evident that Balanced doesn't affect the spread recovery rates while moving.

    In the 3rd test you actually tested while stationary (as well as in cover) so the effect could activate properly.

    Perform another test while you stand still and ADS while not moving the character in any way to confirm or deny whether or not Balanced only works in or near cover.

    As i said before on my original post, "seems like it work only if u stay still or use cover", so it does work while you stay still, i just haven't included it to the video.

    Must've misunderstood, my bad.

    It is obvious then that the penalty from moving overwrites the effect of Balanced, whether that's intended or not is debatable and cannot be currently determined without a developer stepping in and claiming which one is true.

    As it comes to my opinion on the matter, snipers and DMRs need a buff, even if it's as small as Balanced overwriting the movement penalty to spread.
