Hello everyone.
I haven't been on here for ages. I have a question for you guys.
What are the things that Ghost Recon Wildlands has and doesn't have that you think Ubisoft has missed hugely on?
EXAMPLES:
Examples are in list form:
- Better AI?
(Explain how it could be better etc.)
- AI Character Customization?
(Explain how this feature should or why it could have been implemented)
I am really interested to see what you guys think they could have done differently and improve on to make you guys happy?
Please no smart butt remarks and nothing about the company. Only things to improve on in the game ONLY!
Why not go read the topics? This is just a rehash of the points.
Better AI, because the AI is ****ing stupid. It is either all or nothing. It does not play like a squad. You drive, fly, demo, snipe and infiltrate. They just tag along.
AI customization, because the load-outs don't match the descriptions in the blurb, you unlock 60 different guns, yet they use the same guns from opening to closing scenes. The look of the squad because it is ******ed that you're in winter ghillie and they are in rolled up Ts.
General gameplay immersion things.
Load-outs for your AI. Currently they are just 3 random interchangeable people. There isn't a Sniper, a Demo, a LMG user, there are 3 clones with different skins.
Better delays on SEAD operations. The Insta-respawn AA sites are bad.
Better scaling on the enemies at higher tiers. Not infravision 100m+ full auto aimbots.
I'm happy with game but these three things would make me even happier.
1. You could play only one primary weapon or only with sidearm. Leaving the primary weapon slot 2 empty.
2. You could remove the backpack from the character.
3. The laser sight bug not showing on coop is fixed.
But there is whole punch of other things what I like to see.
Generally speaking I agree with most of the feedback given by other users. One thing I would add is the ability for SB or Unidad aircraft to not be targeted by their own AA units as long as the helicopter or plane wasn't spotted while taking off or stolen while an alarm was raised. Rather annoying when you're flying these aircraft in a normal flight pattern and AA magically know the ghosts commandeered that aircraft even though ground forces were unaware it was even stolen to begin with.
IFF systems makes this believable. What isn't is the grunt on the ground spotting you as you zoom overhead at 200kph. In the dark.Originally Posted by Tacad Go to original post

Belt feds with bipods.
Quicker rifle to pistol transitions.
Different effects from load-outs. Wanna carry a 7.62 battle rifle, 8 mags, an M203, 6 40mm HEDPs, Drone, C4, frags, flashbangs, and a belt fed with 300 rounds of ammo? And armour? Sure. Enjoy walking. Wanna carry a stripped M4 with 3 mags and the MOLLE rig enjoy running.
Soooo much more they could have done.
More AI team commands and equipping team's weapons like the old SOCOM games. Adding equipping outfits to that would be nice as well.
NEW GAME PLUS
Please add my favorite vehicle to the Santa Blanca pack, the white Armored pickup. There's only one version of that vehicle available, and it's that ungodly ugly Incan thing.
Please work on the vehicle spawning when delivered through the rebel command. It's just horrible.
The only time it turned into a boring grind for me is when I realized how many times you have to replay missions over and over just to get down to (or even close to) Tier One. I don't mean Tier One MODE per se, I mean actually getting to Tier One level. I think the closest I've gotten so far is like Tier 13 or something. It's very tempting to just give up long before you get there, and out of boredom, not difficulty.
As far as squad AI goes, yeah it would be nice if they didn't refuse to follow Go To commands sometimes, or keep saying lost target, but when I think about it, the times they do are usually when I'm being too lazy myself. It's easily fixed by leading them to a better spot. The AI are hardly totally worthless as many imply though. Try shooting those convoy drivers by yourself and see how well it goes, or nailing some of the super long sniper shots they pull off.
No, most of those saying the AI are totally trash expect them to do everything for you. Quite to the contrary. AI need to be treated as squad mates that are nowhere near as capable as human squads, aside from those skills I mentioned above.
