Just before Ghost War where announced, I began thinking of how awesome it would be with a PVP feature in Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Ghost War is really fun, and does add the PVP element in the game. But apart from that, PVP in the open world between just you and your friends is something I think would be really amusing.
This doesn't has to be added as a new feature though. If there would just be a personal "Friendly fire" option/setting so that it would be possible to harm other players, and for other players to be able to harm you. It would only upp to you and your friends/ co-players to set up "rules" like... chose a base (just a random building) and then try to find and take each other out.
This is just a thought I had. Plus that a friendly fire feature definitely would add to the realism for advanced player that's searching for a challenging/simulation experience. And so that there would be a little more verity between PVP-modes.
I had the exact same thought and even posted a thread on it a while back.
I would have loved to have seen this as an option. As creative as game communities are, I'm sure folks would have been coming up with their own competitive PvP scenarios with friends using the existing game world.
For hardcore players like myself and my friends, it would have added to that style of gameplay.
