Orochi double top light nerf - coming for other heroes as well?

Hi, I watched yesterday's Warrior's den (February 1st 2018) and I have question about one upcoming change.

With the coming parry changes, you only get a light attack after parrying a heavy attack.
If the first top light hits, the second top light is guaranteed for Orochi. This would give Orochi a better heavy-parry punish than most other characters so the team nerfs the combo's damage from 32 to 22 (or something around those numbers).

My question is: is the same change coming for other characters that have a second attack guaranteed if one lands?
e.g. Warden's double side light, Shaman's double light, Shinobi's light after heavy or light. (maybe there are more but you get the idea)

These attacks have the same property - after a heavy parry you will have a guaranteed double light. So why are they talking only about Orochi's combo if the others benefit from the exactly same thing?

To balance this, they also increased Orochi's deflect attacks' damage. But Shaman and Shinobi have a deflect too and they are not changing those two characters.

What I don't understand is, why are they changing a certain situation for one character when other characters benefiting from the same thing stay unchanged.

    Double Lights:
    Warden 24 dmg
    Shinobi: 24 dmg
    Shaman: 20 dmg

    Orochi pre nerf: 32 dmg
    Orochi post nerf: 22 dmg

Are you still serious about nerfing the others?

Now it makes more sense to me. I didn't know these were the numbers, but now I see this change basically puts Orochi on par with others with the same mechanic. Thank you for this.

I was going to make a thread about this later but when is Orochi going to get a rework? He got nerfed really hard. All he has now in his kit is that and zone. Sure they upped one of his deflects but they are so inconsistent to do in PVP games. And riptide doesn't matter if they made it 300 damage the move quite frankly sucks. It doesn't retreat far enough as you usually will get hit and the timing can't be controlled nor is it unblockable. The other Heroes with the double hit have much fuller kits.

I understand why they did it but his other move set is lacking compared to the others. So when is he getting a rework? He needs it now more than ever since they cut down his signature move.

We don't have a pinned down date for Orochi's balance changes, but our goal for Season 5 is to bring all 12 original heroes up to par with the rest of the roster. When we have more information, like if Orochi will be getting a rework (Conqueror/Kensei treatment) or major balance changes (Nobushi/Highlander/Berserker), we'll make that information available. We know a lot of players are curious or concerned for their favorite original heroes, so we want to make sure that information gets out to everyone as soon as possible.

the point is that orochi does not need the nerf as the other characters have a better kit. the other classes are not getting an overall damage nerf like orochi. he was already not overpowered but now by nerving his lights to be worse than warden and shinobi's is basically taking away the only threat he had. i don't want to rely on deflecting as the only way to get damage now. the new classes are ridiculous and the orochi gets major nerf. i just don't see it. and there is no rework coming to orochi. rip. I'm done

WTF are you all talking about? Orochi gets a big Damage buff on Wind Gust and Riptide Strike, maybe you should learn something new except double top lights for heavy damage (literally other characters have less damage with a heavy attack...) and zone attacks. Orochi basically has a 500ms heavy attack right now, you serious about that being "ok" compared to other heroes? I fought so many Orochi and 95% of them used only above mentioned moves. Nothing else. This has to be changed. And I bet that he will get tweaked further.
