Dear Support Team,
Hello agents,
I've come up with some suggestions on the game that really make me post it here. There are a lot of good ideas from the community, but they are not properly considered.
That's why I'd officially like to give my opinion to The Division here to encourage developers to take the right steps if necessary. (for information, i have post it in german forum, too.)
Update year 3 - 2018:
- Expansion of all missions for all levels of difficulty. Make all missions available as challenge and regularly add new Legendary missions. (General Assembly or Russian Consulate.) (Every month 1 - 2 new Legendary Missions) The expansion of story missions in the game with new missions that give new insights behind the mastermind of Aron Keener.
- New district subdivision in the east with new game modes for Last Stand (Capture the Flag, King of the Hill).
- Use Buildings in Manhattan (skyscrapers) to implement events, missions, incursions. Example: Mission to drive the cleaners out of the skyscraper. Final battle is on the roof and you have a great view of the city
- The Hunters also appear by chance in Legendary missions or get their own missions with new enemy types: Kanibalists from the new zone: Central Park More and more varied DarkZone locations. New buildings to commit with more bosses.
- Revision of the Manhunt system, so that you have more points to log out, if you are Manhunt.
- Randomly generated missions that would require more than 4 players (missions for 2 squads.)
- Please review the modifcations of the weapons a bit. For example, attaching a flashlight so you have the feeling of having an advantage in dark shafts and rooms. With an On and off option to increase the atmosphere. Modification options as in Wildlands.
- Build a storyline for the radio makers: What you know it to accomplish missions (daily random tasks alla Assassin's Creed Origins). Finally get to know the radio maker, who knows a lot about the background.
More and versatile content that animates the game more with fun and joy.
Changes that I think would be good: separating balances and changes of the sets to PVP and PVE. Some changes for PVP are useful, but illogical in PVE. An example is the ballistic shield, which no longer scales to skill level. All skills depend on it but the ballistic shield. In Stolen Signal, playing with Randoms is sometimes very distressing. Here, PVP and PVE must be separated, which certainly affects other skills. (Seeker Mine: please increase damage to NPCs and leave it to players).
Future Ideas for Year 4 (2019).
Please do not do „The Division 2“ because the scope suffers in a new game. The variety of playing the game are currently as good as never before. Packing this into a „The Division 2“ would take a long time. In addition, new mistakes are made which we have already solved in „Division 1“. It would be a Reboot, but this would not offer more scope then The Division Manhatten.
Now my idea: The Division should get connected to surrounding neighborhoods like Brons, Queens or Brocklyn, where new tasks, types of enemies or new and other dangers lurk (story). What a „Division 2“ would do would be possible in a common game. Here you could introduce new gear levels and invent new world ranks. This would have the advantage that in world rank 6 you could also play old missions and content that already exists, but also that you can keep all character rewards and your gear.
The player base already exists and could be reactivated. Those who have turned their backs on The Division will not buy The Division 2 either way.
An example is Destiny 2. No discussion that it’s a good game, but it lacks end content. The Division wants to be a long-running RPG cover shooter game that keeps people playing for a while to buy stuff in the in-game shop. Then it expands and brings you to Queens or Brocklyn (a new urban area) by helicopter or over a bridge. New York is a big city with a lot of potential. Build the city and bring more content and story and your ingame shop will be booming.
I hope that a developer reads this here. I really want flashlights on my weapons.
Best regards
Lars Dathe (Lets_Survival on Youtube or Twitch)
I say go ahead and do a Division 2 I certainly won't be purchasing it, all the trailers will be bait n switch lies like this games trailers and actual interviews for the first year and a half. So much content cut from the map to the dark zones the ever changing dynamic world to the faction wars to the more than one base to the content cut into DLC's, and the god awful season pass DLC's jeez.Originally Posted by electricbil2009 Go to original post
So i'd be happy if they did a Division 2 just to see the lies and mess it will turn out to be.

I'm sure a new district for The Division (The Division Brocklyn or The Division Queens) can be just as successful. The DLC does not have to be sold for nothing. If the content of the new area is well designed and varied, such an update is worth $ 30.
I'm from a time when there were extensions to the actual games that added new content to the core game. These existed so players who bought the game would continue to play the game.
Good example of a successful enlargement policy is World of Warcraft. They are adding new content every year to the game, and have discontinued their Titan project (the next MMO) because you would never get WOW's scope so quickly. That's why the actual game is being developed and the revenue continues to bubble.
Even with The Division you have to think about whether the goal would not be just as perfect to ask people with good content to checkout (no mini update, but correct extensions). A new district for unlocking would be a successful concept for Ubisoft to develop the game in 5-10 years.
A The Division 2, like Destiny 2, will have a huge problem when it comes to the diversity of missions. I think Ubisoft does not need to develop a The Division 2.
It's their engine and it's up to you to develop the game into a Frenchise.
I would be there, but not for a The Division 2.
1. I would like to see a map extension to the north east, theres a bridge up there that could make for a good incursion, something like helping the jtf defend it would be cool.
2. I have seen the idea posted on here before about being in a building and clearing it, i think that would be cool as well and could be fit into the existing world as is. Also we have alot of open/street missions so i think it would be nice to have more close combat type missions.
3. I would like to see a capture the flag type pvp where you have to carry a fuse type object(player can only walk and use sidearm) this would really make use of a tank build and require more team work to move it. A healer, tank, and dps all become important with this in their own way.
4. I would love to see all missions have a legendary option. To this point i wouldn't mind if you could restart the game, keeping all your current gear, and play through with it being at a heroic or legendary difficulty.
5. I'm ok with the dz and the current rogue/manhunt system...i also don't play this at all so, take that for what its worth.
6. Division tech caches that can be opened with lockpick(a totally forgotten part of the game, lockpicks) maybe if you fail at picking it, it explodes and you have to wait 4 hours to try again or something.
7. Light zone upgrade see murphs thread on this
8. survival upgrade- rewards for time invested and something to spice it up in general, probably my favorite part of this game but it has just gotten stale as of late.
If there's a year 3, make it the final year and go out with a bang.
8 player co-op RAID Make it super difficult and make it require the best squad teamwork around. Make it the stuff pve players dream of.
New classified gearsets..especially my alpha and omega dual wield pistol set...new exotics
Battle Royale for PVP..
Lets really go out with a bang for a year 3.
Massive make the snow drop engine self. They can fix the problems in the code. But cheater or hacker find always a way to cheat or hack in a game. Valve with counter strike show it. A The Division 2 is not 100% warranty for cheat free pvpOriginally Posted by gt2k Go to original post
You are new. The server client model that this game uses requires them to rewrite it and re install it on both Server and Client. That means it is a new game that you would have to download. There is no point in doing that when a new game or in this case a sequel would solve it. So all your idea mean nothing if they can't fix that those issues.Originally Posted by Lets_Survival Go to original post
Who the hell said cheap free PVP? What are you talking about?
First off...let's get rolling on The Division 2.
This game made a half a billion dollars in the first week of sales and the new game will too. No DLC can ever even compare to that.
This is a great game but it's time to take what they've learned and start fresh.
I see the skyscraper mission brought up a lot. That's not gonna happen.
They can't just open the doors and let us in. The world inside those buildings does not exist. A whole new game would have to be coded to get inside those buildings.
