This months global event went great. Got a full set of AB (yeah I know....big deal). and TA, my favorite gearset. Since coming back to the Division 1.8 I feel like the droprates are just great. In just 10 days (around 80h) I've gotten 6 Alpha, 6 Tactitian, 5 Striker, 4 Nomad, 3 Predators, 2 Banshee, 1 Reclaimer, 1 Deadeye, alot of Firecrest and Hunters faith but picked them apart. Some other ones that I don't really care about and picked them apart. Sure, AB and TA could really use overhaul compared to other sets, but that's a different story.
Please stop complaining about the droprate. In just 80h I've gotten all these pieces and did'nt have a single classified gear since coming back.
Sure...it takes some effort and hard work (grinding) but that's also part of the game. How fun would it be to always get the best gear from every drop?
I could complain about my bad luck with exotics cashes......6 latest cashes had: centurioin, bullfrog, damascus, shortbow, mc gloves and Eir! (had all 6 already btw)
How's that for good luck aye? But, it's part of the game.
With that note.....keep grinding agents and thanks to the developers for dropping 1.8. It's a great update!
You are kidding, right?Originally Posted by CorrosiveKris84 Go to original post
That's purely down to luck due to RNG isn't it? Some people have put in far more hours and gotten much less.
Imagine how frustrating it would be for you to put in 80 hours and get 3 pieces - that's how bad it can get.
It would be unfair to ask people to stop complaining just because luck was on your side. They're not complaining, just asking to make the system more consistent in terms of reward vs time investment...
It's good to see you got the set you wanted.Originally Posted by CorrosiveKris84 Go to original post
I've been grinding since the last GE and only have three pieces of the set I want. It's not that I want every set to drop from the sky, but I would like some sort of balance between the hours I put in and the gear I receive. Even if it takes twenty hours to get one piece at least I'd be able to get what I wanted. As it is, I get what the game wants, useless gold sh*t for the most part
Just counting on luck works for some and not for others. Just because you got lucky doesn't mean my complaints aren't valid![]()
Finished 2 sets and almost got 2 more in 80h. Just need the Striker gloves, Nomad vest and holster isn't that bad. This was also my first global event so. Comparied to farming Lexington over 300 times for the Barretts and killing world bosses 500 times to get godrolled MC gloves I'll take this droprate anytime.
You were able to complete AB and TA because those gearsets were included in Ambush caches.
Outside of GE drop rate of classifieds is NOT fine. Named bosses still have 3% chance to drop a random classified piece. Divide that 3% by 14, which is the total number of gearsets available, then divide the result by 6, which is the number of set pieces...the result is 0,035%. That are the odds of getting exactly the piece you're missing from exactly gearset you're looking for.
In what universe is 0.035% reasonable drop rate? On top of that you could get screwed over by RNG and that last piece can be trash which not even two recalibrations can save.
If you were looking to complete Reclaimer or DeadEye, then your post would have a very different tone. See the problem yet? Some of us aren't satisfied with getting just any classified item - we are looking to complete some specific sets and the grind for that can take a very long time. Depending on luck.Originally Posted by CorrosiveKris84 Go to original post
Yeah, you need the division gods on your side. With exacly 1327h of gametime (TRN) it took me forever just to get good gear from The Division 1.0 - 1.6. My friends calls me the most unlucky Division player in history. No one has gotten worse drops than me (according to them) 9/10 times I get the worst drop or get a horrible exotic.
