Like most games, they could always add custom skins for real $, similar to LOL, or even the infamous loot box style....

It is dissapointing that we aren’t getting new Armor variations, but I can only hope that means that the team is working on some armors that aren’t going to be Reskins for Season 6.

Sorry for the confusion! There is no armor (just weapons) coming at Season 5 launch. This doesn't mean there isn't armor coming during the season. I can't go into details yet and I'm sorry I know that is frustrating!

Now that might just mean a festival armour like the halloween and christmas ones but figured worth sharing in any case.

Maybe, but we don't know anything past season 5 and we know it takes around nine months to do a hero, with season 5 being reworks, 6-8 or 7-8 could conceivably be DLC content they put out a new season pass for.
