Yes, bring it on, should be in game already!
Yes, I would like to pick it sometimes for greater immersion.
Not interested.
I'm wondering about adding option for no-effect execution, because the current effect preview panel is actually misleading, it shows no animation for "default", while in game it means that greenish bottom-top whoosh (I know it means healing, but still it bothers me that I can't turn it off otherwise than use some specific effect).
So how about adding "REALISTIC" effect option, which simply means NO additional visual effect on execution than the movement?
Now that we can play realistic matches it would be even more realistic without "magical" effects popping every execution. What do you think?
I totally agree, and I would extend this to the lines that delimit the areas in dominion as well and the ugly icons around your arms when you capture a flag in tribute. All the cartoonish kind of graphics actually.
Just saying that in the pre-match mini video in dominion in Forge, if you are the defenders, you see horrible white lines in the center of the map... (objective B).
I don't like these things at all and I really don't understand why we can't just hide them. They are useful at the beginning to understand where the area begins and ends (for example) but then they just ruin the experience. I'd like to have a realistic map to fight in, even more because of the stunning graphic of the game.
On a side note: this is very common in all ubisoft games and it has never been addressed...
I'm all for reducing the silly special FX across modes, especially 4v4s (Dominion, Tribute). I don't like the zone borders in Dominion and all the flashy stuff in Tribute. It would suffice if Dominion had a single zone indicator that acts like a lighting effect, similar to Quake Arena / Unreal Tournament. When you take a base, there will be an ambient light that will glow either blue or red depending on which team took the base. Similarly, in Dominion, they could add an ambient light that turns orange or blue depending on who takes the zone.
Tribute is just a mess and will probably need a thread all for itself.
I personally have no problem with the healing effect on execution.
