The new mythic for knights and samurai they are really lacking.... Alot the Viking that's better then what we have. The rocks or bamboo sorta just float and that's it can we get like a more vicious effect or flashier Atleast. Add more rocks or bamboo add dust bigger explosions do something cause I feel cheated out of 15k steel.
I feel it is Ubisofts way to say sorry for the masks we got for christmas, vikings got a piece of trash (even with the rework) and samurai and knights got some badass piece of awesome. Now it is just the other way around, vikings get awesome and samurai and knights get trash.
Stuff like this goes in circles. Remember those outfits that came with the flying bug effects? Samurai got butterflies, Knights got fireflies, Vikings got... Flies. And the ones with those crystal effects, for the Knight and Samurai these crystals grow out of the heroes chests, on the Vikings it's on their legs for some reason.
And of course both the Viking masks are kinda lame compared to the other two factions'.
I can't imagine there's any intent with any of it though, just a weird observation.
These new effects are kinda lame to be honest, i often buy outfits for the ornaments that come with it. I dont know if its just me, but from season 2 to 4 ive noticed some lack of imagination (or time) in ornaments both in mythics and elite. Back then the same outfit in elite or mythic used to have different ornaments for each hero in that faction, and nowadays they share the same tiny, uninteresting ornament for every one of them.Originally Posted by bioblaze10656 Go to original post
Those like Flying Lys, Pit Viper and The Forge outfits, no lazyness there amigo, they created different badass ornaments for each class, but most importantly, it felt Lore-friendly..... now if you look at the latest mythic ones, its so generic and random that i feel like they wasting resources and time on these outfits.
Damn, if im playing a medieval fighting game i want to look the part, i cant think why i would play a knight with tridimensional synthwave symbols on my coat of arms, or random number "8"s all over the place or galactic stones....but i guess there is always someone who likes right?
My point being: Quality over quantity. Take your time devs, create something unique (and pls! keep it as lore-friendly as possible) for each hero, dont need to rush on that, i certainly dont have enough money to keep spending 15k on outfits each week anyway. Who knows, maybe even release hero-related outfits instead of faction-wide ones
I agree with LastMoh1can who says that the new additions need to be more lore-friendly. There is way too much embarassing stuff already. In fact I mostly keep the effects turned off, but I can't do nothing for some horrible capes or standars that players have.... but since they buy, Ubisoft will keep releasing this ****
