    The dogpoo about regen.

    I see some players complaining about regen who clearly do not understand the relation towards poison.

    So let me start with a serious explanation.

    Poison is the opposite of regen. Poison does the same damage as regen heals.
    If regen gets changed so will poison. This is balanced.

    Poison and regen have the same counters both being purify from the mystic deck.
    Because this is the case players are almost forced to play mystic for the purify.

    Here is where the inbalance lies.
    Shaman token is not an effective counter towards poison because the charge time, availability, the moment you put him it takes to long and the poison will have done it's work.

    This makes it so the only counter towards this is purify.

    Every other combination that does not involve purify will get wrecked.

    Regen on the other hand has many other counters.

    In order for regen to be effective you need a few troops on the board.
    Counters that work against many troops will also work against regen,
    Fireball, cockmagick, arrowstorm, All high damage and focusing of damage is a good counter against regen.

    Playing without purify against regen is in that way not that difficult.
    At the same time halleluja has no counters and is instant. meaning halleluja is not counterable.
    Except for high damage focus spells or mob removers.

    For poison this is not the case... you cant really do anything against it.
    The range is almost the entire field and way to big.

    Often when i place troops far away from eachother it does not matter and they get hit anyway.
    With fireball this is not the case.

    If you do not play purify you cant do anything at all against poison.
    In order for a decent push you need some amount of troops but the range is so big even spacing wont help.

    This makes so that poison has only 1 counter while regen has many possible strategies even if you do not have purify.

    Amount of counters regen : many
    Amount of counters poison : 1, limited to mystic


    Dont play purify, get wrecked....
    Put shaman token, to late 14 second charge time, your shaman token dies by the end of the poison xD!!!


    And that ladies and gents is why poison is way to overpowered and regen is not.
    That is also why so many players have mystic and regen and purify.
    Broken mecha timmy is another reason to play mystic.

    This is just the basics.
    Did I myself ever have problems with regen?
    No, only a small amount of times in combination with starvin marvin or when many troops on the board because I played badly.

    Did I myself have problems with poison?
    Every single time I draw because all of my troops die and there are no possible counters, I really dislike being forced to play mystic and purify.
