To be honest I don't really mind if this post gets any traction I just wanted to share some ideas I had on what I personally think would be cool classes.
SHOGUN:
Armour
- I would say this class would be pretty tanky health wise and have the armour to back it up, wearing armour sets based on shoguns (obviously). Mainly i would want this hero for the armour style since i think the Kensei just looks a little doofy and want a badass looking samurai. (walk and run speed the same as papa Shugo)
Weapon/Moveset
- His weapon would be a katana in the right hand and the sheath in the left, with semi fast light attacks the same speed in all directions similar speed to the Nobushi's, so you know actually parryable without being ridiculously fast.
- Heavy attacks would be as slow as the Raider's however with the damage of a Warden's side heavy so in combat they are only viable as a wall splat punish or in conjunction with allies.
- No dodge attacks because he would be mainly focused on defending.
- Area attack would be a wide fast sweep with his swords sheath as fast as the gladiators area attack having the stun property with pushback dealing no damage and having no follow up, meaning to be used to create space.
- He would have a full block stance without block properties however it creates an area around him that buffs attack and defence of allies. However he would have the opposite of a papa Shugo shield, in this i mean when hit in this stance he falls over.
Special stuff
- Shogun would start with minions, still unsure on what exact numbers i would use however i would say around 10-20 small one hit kill minions and probably around 2 of those two health bar generals.
- The animation for his full block stance would be that he gets a small chair out and sits on it. In this stance he would move a cursor around in his eyeline and use the heavy attack button to send his generals there and the light attack button to send his minions there, using the guardbreak button to call them back to follow him. Otherwise his minions will just follow him.
- While in the full block stance if there are any minions near him and someone tries to attack him the minions will jump in front of the attack giving the player time to get out of his stance.
- On a grab the Shogun with minions nearby pressing the heavy attack button will get nearby minions to attack the enemy while the Shogun holds them in place. The more minions nearby the more damage dealt scaling to 2 bars of damage.
(thats about it for him)
WILDMAN:
Armour
- Not very tanky, being an assasin class close to the health of a Berseker. The armour would consist of different pelts and leather (typical viking armour) or just a single pelt to give him an even wilder feel than the Shaman. As well as not having neat hair or beard his face barely visible under all of it.
Weapon/Moveset
- Primitive weapon for sure something like a rock hammer or club with nothing in the other. Light attacks would be as fast as the Shinobi but as damaging as a Shaman's only being used to harass the enemy and chip there health away.
- Heavy attacks would all be unblockable and would deal one bar of damage however would be easily parriable at the speed of a Raider's heavy and would use a significant amount of your own stamina up. (roughly the same amount as a Raider's area attack)
- Dodging light attacks similar in speed and power to the Berserker's
- His area attack would be similar to the Berserker's with a hint of papa Shugo's. This being that it would make the Wildman charge at an opponent unleashing a flurry of attacks in alternating direction however consuming 90% of stamina.
- Would have a similar pounce to the Shaman's with the same wind up and ability to cancel it, however would not pushback an enemy instead it would deal a quarter of a bar of damage, having the pounce be a roughly 2 second animation of the Wildman jumping on an opponent screaming in there face then, headbutting them. This dealing a small amount of stamina damage but cannot make someone go out of stamina like the Valkyrie's shield bash. This would hopefully be used as a way to disorientate an opponant rather than as a spam attack.
- He would have a full block stance with no blocking properties.
Special stuff
- His full block stance would work in a similar way to the Highlander's aggressive stance however in this case you would hold the full block stance button for roughly 5 seconds making the Wildman phsyche himself up slowly entering a rage mode. This lasting roughly the same amount of time revenge does as well as having the infinite stamina properties while in rage mode.
- In his rage mode he would have hyper armour on constantly, his attacks would be blockable however unparriable and would only be able to pounce and infinitely chain light attacks. However he would not be able to guard any oncoming attacks.
- At the end of this rage mode the Caveman would immiediatly become out of stamina so it is actually risky to use it.
