    They are also changing parry (although we don't know how for sure), which alone would be enough to make conq viable. A big part of what makes him feel weak is that the best static defense is parry, which trumps all the defense options he gets and worse every other character has.
    I swear if they mess up lawbringer parties I'll be done with this game

    As long as parry exists Law will be fine. Law is actually one of the best examples as to how the game was never designed to let you GB after a parry. For law GB after parry is the best option, meaning his own after parry moves are basically useless, which means that he was given them based on the idea that you would not in fact be using GB after parry.
