Ive figured it out. The ai isnt modeled after the special forces. They're actually modeled after 12yr old paintballers. Makes so much sense now.

But they tell us that they want our suggestions and that they pass them on. So obviously if we keep asking and they keep passing maybe somebody higher up will get the bright idead that some people might want to customize their squad mates.

I mean if I had a kid who kept asking over and over and over and over for a full year for ice cream and I kept saying no, I think after a year I would decide that that child really deserves ice cream since he/she/they/it (whatever the F you are supposed to refer to people as nowadays, who the F really knows but I digress) have been asking for over a year for it. That is just me though. Apparently Ubi are the sadistic kind (although waiting a year to get my kid ice cream is kinda sadistic too.) of parent that just doesn't like to give their kids anything. Well okay their kid asks for ice cream so they give him wood shavings and call it chocolate, or they give him Helo controls and say 'There we gave you something, stop asking for customizable teammates.'

You do realize that after the last patch where they gave us FG guns in campaign that even if they did give us Customizable Squad Mates it would be glitched to F and back and we would all complain, scratch that as the heroes of Ubi say we shouldn't complain because they have done so much already (and I agree that have done a lot, but also left a lot undone) so let's say observe, we would all observe how Weaver has his underwear on his head and his helmet for a shoe.

Honestly at this point AI clothing is irrelevant. I’d much rather an overhaul to their functionality. IE Being able to have them go guns hot while holding. Things like that.

It would be great if the ai had all the abilities and choices we had in the original Ghost Recon.

You could do way more complex ambushes and strategies with that ai even though it was dumb as hell.
