1: Healing.
-What are all the conditions where it doesnt do anything?
I surprisingly often, get instances where my healing simply wont go off. Im under fire, running around, moving between cover, spamming V or spamming double Q and the heal simply feels like not going off....what am I missing here? Nothing like dying because I started trying to heal and for 3-4 seconds of spamming my heal doesnt work....this probably makes up 90% of my deaths....
-WHy does the amount it heals vary?
When healing does work, why 1 time it heals me all 3 bars, the next it heals me half a bar, the next it doesnt even seem to move the bar, but it triggers.......the hell?
-Self FIrst Aid Heal mods: Do they actually do what I think they do? So if I have 24% Self heal first aid, then my double Q heal ability is 24% better? Or is there another hidden mechanic that IDK about?
2: Turrets
-Does damage affect the amount of times they light people on fire? IE: Status chance
3: Ninjabike bag
-Does this actually do what I think it does?
Im reading its description as if it basically acts like a blank tile in scrabble. You put it on, and if your wearing 2 Alpha Bridge, 2 Nomad and 1 Final Measure, the Ninjabike will act as if you are wearing 3 Alpha, 3 Nomad and 2 Final Measure. I cant get any videos on how it actually works, so it leaves me wondering...im considering making a build with it if it works how im thinking.
4: Gear set mixing
-Is it actually a good idea to mix and match gear sets?
Im looking at changing up my build, going 2 Nomad, 1 AB, 2 Final Measure, using Ninjabike to jack that up to 3/2/3, allowing me to get the heal from Nomad, the Health on kill from Nomad, 100% health regen from AB and the damage resistances from FM, as I try to make a tougher agent......
1. Heal delay has been a constant problem since Day 1 in The Division. Added to that is the fact that Massive have substantially nerfed healing via first aid skills and medkits: I'm unable to even heal myself for 1/3 of my health so I'm forced to run Predatory on every weapon I use.
2. The times you set players on fire are dependent on that players burn resistance or whether he/she is using talents like Adrenaline or skills like the Immune Station.
3. Yes. But it doesn't work with Classified gear beyond the first four talents.
4. No. Unfortunately the introduction of Classified gear has badly affected the variety available to players. You can still do well with a Ninjabag build (especially in pve) but it sadly doesn't compare with the classy stuff.
Before the last GE, I ran 2 Nomad, 2 Alphabridge, Steadfast and Ninja. In 1.7 it was an extremely good build for PvE and I was intending to improve the build using Classified Nomad and Alphabridge pieces. The reality however is that since 1.8 dropped it simply does not compare in any way shape or form with Classified Nomad.Originally Posted by KnightGhostbear Go to original post
So its Heal delay? Wonder why Ubi or whoever thought that was a good idea. Legit, 90% of my deaths are due to heal delay. Hell, just during this GE, 5 deaths, EVERY one EASILY avoided if only my fking heal would go off...... I spot when a situation is bad long before it goes bad...well....I mean, I can spot when I need to heal, so, like 1 1/2 bubbles before im dead, while im moving and diving and stuff, im spamming V, spamming double Q, but nope...every time. Heal Delay and its issues, finicky, inconsistent cover system and Melee guy magic ranges are the only real gripes I have in this game. All lead to me being dead when I shouldnt be.....Originally Posted by Pig_Bodine Go to original post
Heal delay, 14 Vs later, im still not healed.
Cover, one minute A/D flips view, other times it gets me off cover, other times it does nothing. S, sometimes it gets me off cover, sometimes it doesnt. A/D around cover corners, sometimes it works, sometimes it dont...yeah....its damn hard to play when the cover system is so inconsistent. Most my deaths were when I dove into cover and went to flip around and suddenly im off cover, standing up...like really? and A/D equals off cover when!?
Then the Melee guys, I will either shoot them in the face before they get to me, or do a few rolls away, long before they even swing, yet, oddly, nearly every time, it doesnt matter the distance, they hit me anyway, stunning me, which leads to another guy hitting me and another and another and another....and yeah....all because 1 guy decided his melee range was 2 1/2 axes further then his actual reach....
Well, I dont PVP at all, so it not working that well in PVP isnt a huge deal to me.
Well, RNG would have to give me 6/6 CE Nomad first lol.Originally Posted by nairda2k9 Go to original post
Axe Murders and Heal Delay are unfortunately the way it is. No point trying to adapt as you’ve experienced the b4stards still get ya. I have no advice to give other than don’t thrown your controller or M&K at the telly or wall, for that matter. I usually put the kettle on when the game starts turning to pants. Or just scream F OFF at the telly and try again.
