Why would go and drag this crap back up again from last week? You haven't even been active around here for about 9 months and this is what you focus on? .....let it go.Originally Posted by EagleBrass Go to original post
I shouldn't respond, I know I shouldn't, but I feel I have to point out that if you flamed or harassed anyone then you'd get a warning. The CMs have a low tolerance for people who attack the poster not the post.Originally Posted by EagleBrass Go to original post
I don't like to report people and rarely do, because I know there are strong feelings and passions about the game and about Ubisoft and I don't like to put people on ignore either, because I want to see the full spectrum of opinions on the game and the franchise. That means the guys who like to make it personal get the reaction they want sometimes.
Kean is right, though, and I shouldn't react, so I guess there will be less responding and more reporting from now. The forum will be a better place if the trolling behaviour of some posters is either stopped or they are banned.
Yeah its crap having to get all those weapons and equipment all over again. You can purchase the weapons, attachments ect through the game store. I bought only what i needed, but looking back now it was a waste of money. Unless you're part of a online team and you need certain weaponry ect I'd save your money.
It can be a pain getting it all again, but at least its something to do.
Not sure what your quantifiable data is on this "one guy" claim, but I'll bite.Originally Posted by KingSpawn1979 Go to original post
Yes, I know many prefer each play through to not involve the same grinding of the first to reacquire things, but when you consider this is intended to be a challenging tactical gameplay title, to have very powerful weapons at the start, or even upgraded ones, when you had to scrounge for such things on the first play through, also means the higher difficulty you may be playing on in your second play through, suddenly isn't as difficult as it was intended to be. So I say kudos to the devs for keeping it more realistic challenge wise, instead of a lazy player's game.
Not that it matters to the NG+ addicts, but I was so into the game that I took the time to get ALL the weapons, parts, skills, intel, basically everything in a region, before I even began playing the missions in it. So it was like doing everything twice. Besides that, most of it was done with stealth, which speaks volumes for the AI most imply get you into trouble.
I'll add that NG+ done right is the way it was done in Batman Arkham City, where NG+ mode was harder, with more AI and tougher enemies. GRW is a game that can be played the first play through on hardest mode, switching to Tier One mode as soon as you get to level 30. As long as you use common sense in utilizing the AI, even an old fart that's 59 like me can do it no problem.
...and besides all that, it's not like NG+ is some new or foreign concept. It's simply another way to enjoy replaying the campaign from the start without first having to collect all of the weapons, etc.
Ubi just recently announced an NG+ mode for AC:O due (at least in part) to the outpouring of requests for it from their fans.
In either case, it's an option. .....not a change/removal to what already exists.
But you CAN do that, and without even restarting the game. All you do is right click on a given region and it shows all the missions in order, which can be replayed with all your gear and upgrades. There's only ONE mission you can't replay, and it's the first side mission tutorial where you defend a radio transmitter, so that shouldn't interest you anyway since you pass off all side missions as boring. Anyway you cut it, the lack of NG+ complaints are baseless.Originally Posted by GR_No_Joy Go to original post
