    Soooo For Honor came out the 14 of February 2017, not a year yet.

    Have you already played Overwatch? Because Doomfist, character released in July 2017, had gamebreaking bugs which simply made his main damage spell the most useless thing ever, patched in december, 6 months to patch something that prevented any efficient gameplay (much worse than Conq's superior block). As another exemple Reinhardt who was among the OG cast had one of his spells buggy too, was patch last december, the thing was so awful you could've litterally threw dices on each cast to guess if it would hit, miss or just send your foe flying instead of locking it. Oh and Yeah Symmetra's main weapon is bugged probably since launch or before: her main attack can lock onto an ally Mei's ice wall. Not patched yet.

    While I'm here sir Jarl.Felix can you please explain in details the process of switching For Honor's P2P system to dedicated servers and how is it so easy?
    I'm a developer myself and I'd like to learn how does the core connectivity mechanisms of a game works, in your posts you seem to know what you're talking about since you are very confident towards the internal architecture of the game and how it's meant to work.

    I am sorry but what the hell is this argument?
    So because one company is doing piss poor job with balancing and bugfixing their game, it means its ok for diferent company to do the same? Just what is the logic behind it?
    Switching from p2p to dedi servers is no easy task indeed. It was just really bad bussines decision to go with p2p. So bad, that its arguably the biggest single reason for playerbase loss. And it issues were apparent back during the first closed alphas and it barely got better since then.
    Saying it will (maybe) get fixed Soon™ when dedi servers come out, so we shoudnt complain now is just enabling them to do same half-assed job next time, because they will get away with it-

    There's a reason this game is truly unique and stands out while still having a terrible reputation and small playerbase. The ideas and vision are there, but these guys let this game go.

    It's literally pathetic and unacceptable. They have some of the best jobs on the planet being able to create video games like I'm sure we all wish we could do to earn our paychecks. Yet, a year after release there is noticeable game breaking lag in PvP matches to varying degrees.

    Sometimes you feel like you're being lag switched by your opponent which again is reminiscent of early 2000s multiplayer games. While the other times lag occur it's sneaky and comes in the form of lying to you such as performing a parry on your enemy but being denied the free damage even though on your screen it looks like your follow up attack connected but then half a second later the game rewinds and enemy blocks said follow up attacks.

    I watched the season 5 reveal stream and what's sad is how much of an act it truly was.
    They don't care about their job or they can get away with half assing things. You cannot explain to me that you release a game on big a scale as Ubisoft and expect me to swallow your shallow grade school kid excuses. You can't fool your playerbase neither which is why you have this highly recognizable different engaging looking game while boasting numbers that free to play games laugh at. How can you say "they're trying" when they haven't solved connectivity issues a year after release. Pathetic and I'm embarrassed to try to defend this game when the 9/10 people in the room are quick to say this game is trash.

    Where's the interesting game modes? They don't think an arena where players can watch others duel and wager while the contestants battle for glory in front of an audience?

    Lol blizzard is no better then Ubisoft bro, they aren’t as bad no but just like Ubi soft they don’t give a horses ***. Blizzard was great until activision came in the picture. Now they’re stubborn, idiotic, narcissistic, and have a Kanye West sized ego. Never ever compare game balances with blizzards because they’re known for having shtty balancing trust me I’ve played their games for years. And Overwatch omg that game don’t even get me started, and the new characters they released are trash tier, hell doomfist was unplayable for months and they finally decided to look at him and he’s still trash.

    This thread needs to get back on track. The issues seaners95 brought up are legitimate, so I don't want to close this thread. But we're going on 3 pages of off-topic bickering now.

    Obviously we are bringing dedicated servers to the game in Season 5, which may have some impact on this problem.
