So this game will not work on my PC. It used to work on my old PC but I just built a new PC and this game refuses to run.

I have read that dumbing down the CPU to use fewer cores will work but what's the point in spending nearly £2000 on a CPU if you are just going to dumb it down?!

Anyone know a work around? So I can play this game without dumbing down?

Seems a little crazy that this game doesn't run on the new top spec processors. No mention of it in the system requirements...

I have sent a message to ubi (nearly 2 weeks ago) but they havent replied.

Hey ddac84! I found your support case ticket. I would try the following PC steps. If that does not help, please update your ticket with your Dxdiag and MSINFO files. This lets us investigate your issue further. Thanks for bringing awareness to this

Thanks for the reply. I have submitted the info requested.

I know that the AMD threadstripper or whatever its called also has the same issues, but that comes with a game mode so that's an easy fix. But for me it would mean dumbing down the cpu, restarting and then playing, every time I want to play :-(

I get to see the splash screen for 5 or so seconds then it takes me back to uplay.
