Bring Respawn and stop being CSGO/R6 siege

What happened to the old multiplayer era where actually games were focused on Objective and Tactics and Killing had no reward at all. I am talking about Ghost Recon future soldier and Phantoms. Why do devs think making a no respawn only multiplayer is a good idea?

Ghost recon future soldier was a great success in Multiplayer experience (apart from the PC constant connection issues). GRFS brought a unique game mode called "Conflict" which was hell of a fun because killing was absolutely having no effect on winning or losing. It was all about teamwork and it always had full action going on until the objective timer was out. Now we get this elimination mode and you force us to have ONE class per team like R6 siege and we need to cringe a lot of hours to unlock classes and you are giving almost ZERO weapon modification to multiplayer. The new hostage mode and elimination are totally the same you kill and you revive and meanwhile there is some minor thing called "HVT" which no one is even focusing on.

[removed - UbiInsulin] When you mention title "Ghost Recon" To a dedicated fan like me the only thing which comes to my mind is "Forced Stealth Game". Making every single of your games open world is destroying the tactic and stealth in Single Player.

Let's put that aside and say GR Wildlands was exception and you really can't call it ghost recon. How about Multiplayer? Yes Elimination is very fun and it is full of stealth but that does not mean the entire game should force you to play MP experience with no respawn. Look at Battlefield rush mode, look at almost any old school shooters and even your legendary title GRAW and GRFS. The respawn element brings a full tactical and teamwork experience to the game and that is exactly what games like CSGO and R6 siege fail to deliver.

Stop cloning your games, go back to what made Ghost Recon different from every other tactical shooter ever created in this world!

Clocked in 1000 plus hours on GRFS's conflict mode, it's still the best competitive shooter experience IMO. Teamwork just came naturally and the randomized objectives prevented matches from going stale even if you are playing the same map over and over again. The classes were also unique and all of them had useful gadgets that were really cool.

I played on despite horrible Ubisoft support and the hackers because it was really engaging. A conflict mode would mean multiple randomized objectives throughout a 15 minute match, keeping players on their toes.

How about we start a vote for it to bring it to wildlands? Also why does it need to be 4v4? The maps are 2x times bigger than GRFS and we had 6v6 there and it was hell of a fun. Conflict mode was the best online experience I ever had for all the reasons you mentioned above.

Please no. Looking at respawns in COD gives me cancer.

That just encourages bad reckless hasty gameplay. We don't want that.

Not an "either or" argument; both modes have their place and can be tactical.

I should have also mentioned that I felt it was a deeply tactical game even more than R6 which I play often now; you simply could not rush an objective on your own as death is just around the corner. The respawns were not instantaneous, so making a hasty move around an objective could mean the opposing team would have a big advantage securing it. You could respawn on your team ala Battlefield but again you had to wait between 3 - 15 seconds to respawn.

A lot of concepts from the GRFS multiplayer such as data hacks have been adopted into both Ghost Wars and R6 so someone is definitely paying attention.

What do you mean we? Majority of us want the Conflict mode which has a unique tactical respawn system. Those who don't want it is due to them never playing it or didn't give time to adapt. So stop referencing call of duty if you never played conflict mode in GRFS. They are not alike. Conflict mode is by far the best Ghost Recon if not top 3 mode in the franchise. Like the guy said above it was based on "Team points" not team kills. People always assume COD when they hear respawn from conflict mode but never even played it

Exactly, over 80% of the gameplay comes from GRFS. Gunsmith, classes, Alpha/bravo definition, recon tower which was known as objective, HVT(high value target), sprinting, melee, cover, markers, in-game character communication, and much more. Only thing that didn't come over was the modes. 0% of the modes came over. Conflict will be a great addition and will bring more people to the community
