Rewards from reset only for Legendary ?!
As I just now read the in-game news, as I understood it, there will be rewards for ONLY Legendary players.
So either you put money in this game and receive something or you don`t.
I doubt it that there are many people out there that have not put irl money in this game and are at Legendary rank!
And if they are I am quite sure that they will not be higher than 1k rank.
So awesome idea - make the strong - stronger and the weak - weaker.
So when i get to Legendary (rank 48 now, but with all those cheats still I more expect to drop than go up) next season I will meet people with rank 3 legendary cards and the outcome can be only one.
How do you expect the non pay to win players to be competitive at all ?!

out of 100 games 10 are interesting. The rest are either cheater or you get placed with someone that just walks over you or you get so low that you start to roll over the lower than you guys.
You are making the gaps bigger which will not improve the deck diversity and game balance.
This game is getting worse with every patch or idea you come up with.
Good job making the gap bigger!

I have put zero money into the game, and Iam at 324 rank atm.
People who are not in legend have one great advantage - they can derank an do every event. I cant if I want to stay around my rank before the reset.
The rewards are not even that great. 10 epics for my rank is nothing, and I bet they will be for theme I dont even use. To get to card lvl 5 you need 250 cards. And Ill get 120 cards alltogether.
The gap will be the same. The P2W players dont even need these rewards to make difference for them, as I started to see some level 6 cards already.
PS: I have seen many so called Phone destroyer youtubers, who put their money into the game and cant even get to legendary.

In my region every game or at least second game is a cheater!!! EVERY SECOND GAME !!! I am in a region with Russians and Balkan countries and believe me here people are shameless and when you add the option to cheat 99% opt in!!!!
I want to play the game but it is not possible.
I want to farm pvp but it is just NO FUN!!! I have to get so low in ranks to win that I ROLL OVER THE REST! This is not fun or any gameplay involved.
I do not understand how those people can not fathom how ridiculously stupid this is!
Do not cry that you are in legendary - people there are scared to cheat and lose their deck and you can actually play a decent game.
I understand that the rewards to you seem low, but how can the rest get even this "low".
The people that get into legendary rank in s2 will be not be put in the same. Those that get in in season 2 will not be able to use many decks but WILL BE FORCED to stick to 1 deck, while the rest will have advantage. While you complain that it might not be your deck from the rewards but this will put you in position where you will have more than 1 decent deck, while the other will get rolled over from their only 1 possibility. You just can not overcome the disadvantage in this game and they are EVERYWHERE
In those ranks there are people from beta and many others that have time advantage. And this advantage you can only overcome by spending IRL money.
Can't you just see it - they took a leaf out of EA and will not make it seem so greedy, but if you want to be competitive you have to burn money!

If 50% of your matches are cheaters it is mathematically impossible to progress.
If there would be no hackers, then yes I would be in legendary.
Some days I meet 0 hackers while other days it's 4-5 in a row nonstop.
This is indeed very bad as the cheaters get rewarded even more.

No, stop you are mixing stuff.
Commons take 250 cards at lvl 5.. epics take waaaaayyyy less cards.
25 on lvl 4 to be exact.. making 10epics a ton.
But the cards are not the most importnant .. the amount of upgrade items is pretty ridiculous.
Free legendaries, considering mecha timmy is part of them is also a huge deal as mecha timmy is completely broken and has 0 effective counters.

Calm down man - I didnt cry at all, just wrote you also have an advantage. If I lose in legendary to someone who is 1000+ rank, I lose like 50+ rank. And those guys dont have week cards anymore.
I have a feeling you are frustrated by cheaters - but that is not my fault, and that is the problem everyone talks about all the time.
I wont have more than one decent deck. Check the prices of upgrades in coins. And cards. I wait for one 4 to get to 5 for a week or so. Cant imagine the grind for 1000 cards for level 6. And after 5, one upgrade is like 400+ coins. Iam happy that I have this ONE deck that I stuck with, as I also learned to play it.
I just made good decisions at the start, focused on two neutrals - mephesto and rats, and added other cards as time went on. And I started when the game released officially.
I just dont understand what do you really want. To get reward for what exaclty. In legendary, some ppl are even at rank 3000 or something now. And I bet they didnt spend money or play the whole day. (I play just for pvp packs during the week, a bit more at the weekend if event is playable). Do you want everyone to have the same level of cards immediately and just pick the card you want and play? Yes, that would be the best, BUT some people play for progress in cards, not in legendary ranks. Some people just collect cards and doesnt care about being competitive. Some play just FOR FUN and to play with their fav characters. I personally wouldnt be very interested in a game where you just fight alll over again with no other progress.
I dont get the point that people who put time, money, or both into the game should be in the same position as people who wouldnt (and yes, I hate whales, but what can I do?). If you want to be competitive in anything, you put time and money into it.

my apologies man, no offence! do not get me wrong.
First of all I am an old school gamer ( read that also as an grown up person too). When I start a game I do my best to beat it without the $pay to win$.
A game is supposed to have a natural flow or progression. If you have to throw money at it to play it, than it is not a game but a casino! Do read the internet and you will see that those games are on the threshold of a lawsuit!
Damn South park said it best in a whole damn episode (which by the way i think strangely coincides with the first days of phone destroyer development, if you catch what i mean).
The way the game is structured now is - pay to play or wait a whole lot of time to gain rank and stay at it.
This game is still alpha! No balance, no nothing. They just released it so that people can start spending money as soon as possible!
I think that they started this season legendary rewards as a carrot system to make you spend even more money to get to the legendary ranks and get some decent rewards , because once you are there you can not lose it!
Just tell me this - you start now and you are piss poor.
how much time will it take you to get to legendary if you play above the average daily.
and all this time you spend to get there, once you are there you are barely competitive.
And you will have only 1 deck which if it gets nerfed or changed you are back at the starting point.
I see people with rank 5 cards at level 48 and at legendary it will be a norm.
They nerfed cards sharing.
You can LITERALLY spend hours and hours and get beaten by cheaters or draw and not get 1 item. Not a single item. Where is the logic in that.
They could easily make 1 locker for a draw and spend cash for more lockers which will increase probably income for extra cash bought.
But their logic is just nerf/cut everything. Make it harder and make them spend IRL money.
I want to try another deck, but I will have to lose a lot ranks just to be competitive.
Whats the point of going Legendary if you know that you are half a year away from top 30 %, which at the same time will get stronger and stronger.
This is just a curve that you can not keep up with with normal gameplay or not making SPFD your new job!

There are also people from beta there with their decks not reset. How much you have to play/spend money to get to people that are months ahead !?!
People have spent more time writing complaints than they have at fixing it!!!
There are probably more lines of complaining from cheaters and bad design than there are lines of code written to fix those complaints,
You can easily see that the effort on behalf of Ubisoft is half arsed and takes too long time.
So the only game mechanic is - wanna be competitive or stay relevant - SPEND MO FO SPEND !!!
Same as EA battle front bull crap, but they got lucky for the game not having as much fans to have an outcry!
Gone are the days of a studio being proud of releasing a good designed and fun game.

I know what you will say - it is free to play do not play it if you are not having fun!
And I will say this - I catch my self playing it because I love SP and the characters and most of the in game cards I remember from the episodes.
It just gets me out of nervs because they are/were on the brink of making a great game , if it wasn't for their greed and just plain bad project management !
And it eventually be uninstalled as it happened with the rest of the games that tried to milk me.
But hey .... At least they tried ... which I can not say for Redlynx

I agree with you on many things except for this game being pay to win to begin with.
Yes they are adding bad stuff that will make this game more pay to win... but it was never that pay to win. You still cant buy pvp tickets and everyone has a locker limit and has to win 3 pvp matches.
If you compare the pay packs to the pvp pack there is not much difference.
But the hackers.... and mecha timmy ... make me want to throw my phone trough the window!!
I often win against people 2-4 lvls higher than me. At the same time i lose to people 2-3 lvls lower than me ... hackers... bringing my rank down faster than ubisoft is bringing down this beautiful game.
Agree with you on most stuff... ubisoft made bad decisions ... was lazy and did nothing against the cheating.
They are turning in their comfy chairs with their slippers on and send messages about doing stuff once in a while.
Then they play league of legends and have fun because their own game is full of hackers.

I didnt meet many hackers. Maybe Iam just lucky, but if I did, I would stop playing the game. Hell, I play this game only because when it got out I decided to give it a shot from the beginning, to be competitive when everyone started almost equal.
These games are made to make money. I know it is sad with license of south park, but this is a cash grab. Ill wait until the big balance update, and will see after that if Iam correct. Because I love south park characters - if this wasnt a South Park game, I wouldnt even pick it up.
I still think this game is easier to get into than for example Clash Royale, where the top players have maxed everything. (I know, its because its new) You would NEVER catch with them. Here, well I can be ALMOST competitive. For me, the biggest problem at the moment are the people who quit before games (that will stop soon as they wrote in the dev. update), very boring events, very boring ranked (I either stomp or get stomped), rubber banding and no game modes except for PVE grind.
For me the progression was there, it stopped tho and as I said, Ill wait for the reset. For zero money, I had more fun already than in a full prized title. (12 games a day for PVP packs I can still deal with). Which doesnt mean this game is perfect, because it is far from it - just check how many posts are in the bug report forums). But Iam old enough to stop playing a game if it frustrates me. That is all that really matters.
