    Picatinny Freedom

Next installment should include freedom of where we position accessories on rail systems for personal preference and clipping issues. I like my red dots further forward on the rail and lasers/lights on top as well. Would also keep ACOGs from scoping our poor characters.
Yes, I know some dude(me on first day) would probably install foregrips in place of their scope but hey, freedom!

Extension control of applicable rear stocks would also be sweet.

Yep, agree with that. I was hoping the entire gunsmith idea after Future Soldier would be extended to make everything adjustable including how much you adjust the gassing, where everything sits on the rails etc.

It would be really cool for optics but it might be really hard to implement for grips due to all the animations they would have to add

This would be great. There are a lot of attachments that just drive me nuts due to where they are located.

For example, the M320 on some weapons is mounted WAY too far forward. It also drives me crazy seeing the IR lasers and such mounted on the side rail of the M4. Should be mounted on the top rail towards the front.
