The conqueror used to be able to block attacks. The link to the video I posted on the For Honor twitter shows the failure of the character now. https://twitter.com/Dragogna1/status/955175400073809921. This is an unacceptable issue and needs to be resolved. The character can no longer perform a core aspect f its design and is unplayable. FIX IT!!
Just posted this in another thread on the topic, but we are aware that this change occurred. Per our response on Reddit:
Hey everyone, this was discussed on the Warrior's Den today. This was a very small piece of an upcoming change for Conq, that for some reason ended up going live a bit early. Keep in mind, this may not make a lot of sense in the current state, but with the full rework on the character it should be easier to understand. I'm still waiting on word if this will be fixed prior to the season 5 launch which is when the full reworks will be released. We'll keep you updated.
Glad I am not playing this game right now or I would be PISSED!!!! The superior block was all the Conq had going for him! With no fix date mentioned! Holy sh@t For Honor, talk about kicking a guy while he is down. I really like that about the Conq as well. So far the reworks are looking like total garbage, but we will see. I won't find out until sometime in Season 5 when the dedicated servers come out. Again, glad I stopped playing or I would be furious about this, since the Conq is my #2.
They will probably let this be until reworks come out as it's part of it.Originally Posted by GeneraISoIo Go to original post
Did I miss anything about reworks because this is the only thing I saw about it until now, and it's waaaay not enough to judge.Originally Posted by GeneraISoIo Go to original post
Btw he still have superior block on heavies and dashes.
I used his sup block a lot, do it and go straight into a shield bash. Without it, it really takes away from his current strategies. I agree, it doesn't mean the rework is complete garbage, and I don't mean all reworks, just the Conq's. It is pretty unprofessional, IMO, that they allowed this to happen and still haven't fixed it. Of course it seems like the rework is bogus, when you only show us a small portion. Shouldn't of happened in the first place. And to leave it until the next season is pretty lazy. Again, glad I am not playing and don't have to deal with a "handicapped" Conq until season 5 releases.
