Enemy detection while in a vehicle

In short I think the detection of enemies while you are driving in a vehicle is kinda random but mostly frustratingly accurate...
And the bad thing is unlike when you are walking you can't just go prone quickly to avoid combat. so most of the time
hell just breaks lose and worst case would be unidad patrols or them standing on the side of the road cause of them calling reinforcements...
    that is just unnecessary stress
additionally i would love to have the option to be more incognito when infiltrating bases with the adequate fractions vehicle but that would only be the icing on the cake for me
even though it has been kinda advertised in the trailers but it never really works for me

All i am asking here would be to adjust the awareness a little so that when you drive "normal" and not too close to the enemies they won't see you straightaway
and i bet this has been posted and discussed somewhere already but still i will put this out there again.

I get maybe seeing into a vehicle, or not having an IFF for the SAM sites but how do the enemy see a chopper flying 500' overhead and *know* it has enemies in it.

IMHO the whole "spotting in vehicles" is another broken mechanic.

I agree. This is one of the most frustrating things about the AI, and one of a few godlike abilities they consistently demonstrate. Even when I'm flying a helicopter at night, the enemy AI always happens to know who's in it, and detect me. Ubisoft really needs to fix these kind of issues with the AI once and for all. These problems have plagued the game since launch.
