Hi there, I noticed that in-game, the Conqueror lost his Superior block ability. It was quite a shock that while I was fighting a Centurion that he could chain his heavies like normal as if he was against any other character. I looked through the last 3 sets of patch notes (cause I haven't played this game in about a month) and I could not find anything about the Conqueror losing his Superior block. I even went to a custom game to try it out and see if it was just a thing with the Cent but no, no matter what character I played against their heavies would just go through my block like I was a regular character. Was this an intentional nerf to the Conq or was it an accidental glitch put in? Whatever the case I'd like the devs to update this cause it is rather annoying that one of my favorite characters may have gotten a random nerf without there being a post saying that he was getting a nerf.

It's part of the Conqueror's rework that accidentally slipped into patch 1.18 and was released way earlier than it should be to the public. The Ubisoft representatives stated that we'll not understand the removal of his superior block until his full rework comes out, by then it'll make sense and he'll be actually stronger. But for now yeah, he's at a disadvantage. There has been no confirmation on whether they'll re-put his superior block or leave it as is until the full rework comes out (start of March).

Hey everyone, this was discussed on the Warrior's Den today. This was a very small piece of an upcoming change for Conq, that for some reason ended up going live a bit early. Keep in mind, this may not make a lot of sense in the current state, but with the full rework on the character it should be easier to understand. I'm still waiting on word if this will be fixed prior to the season 5 launch which is when the full reworks will be released. We'll keep you updated.

The community reps aren't holding back information, they get told what they can tell us (and there have been cases where it was obvious they were not told any more than the users in advance) and that is what they need to go with when it comes to answering queries so repetitively posting is going to get you no more than the answer they gave you last time until the devs tell them something different.Originally Posted by broly0204 Go to original post
