I'm hoping for a straightforward (although covert) confrontation against a regular military/militia opponent.
The main reason being that it reduces the risk of overthinking the "what could be" options that we have had with a drug cartel opponent. Wildlands has been a fantastic game and a return to the right direction for the franchise, but I would like to see it get right back to the basic simplicity of the original.
I just hope that any new additions will be to the core game and not some sort of challenge, divorced DLC, etc. I wouldn't even mind paying for added content as long as it can be enjoyed throughout the main game.
An example of what I mean is Tier One in the sense that it was a mode that could be played using the entire core game (world, weapons, missions, etc.). Without the gameplay mechanics they chose to use in that mode (which I really didn't like) ....something different along the line of their original vision would be nice
I completely agree on this, but as "Veterans" of this Forum we both know what will happen.Originally Posted by Kean_1 Go to original post

It's a shame as GRW was a title that made me excited about it even before release but now, it's mostly just another one of those "good games" that I will remember fondly but never really feel that same passion for.
I know one thing.... I will not preorder GRW2 (if it ever comes to fruition) and will wait for the reviews like I do most other standard games that I buy. .....perhaps even waiting until it's on sale months later if I even buy it at all. I simply don't see them (dare I say trust them) to follow through on their original design or vision at this point.
I did the same thing with the AC series, FC and will likely hold out on the next Division as well. ....if it ever comes.
Well, it seems that we are entering the era of 'demo after release' instead of the other way around. I'm not saying this strictly for Ubi games though. There are other games doing this as well, which is simply not right.Originally Posted by KingSpawn1979 Go to original post
Tbh, for me I'm well aware that there are multiple studios under Ubi. I'm currently just blacklisting one by one and not going to trust anything coming out of studios like Massive and this - sadly.
I appreciate how this Ubi Paris can lay out the Season Pass and so when I purchased it (separately) I knew what I was getting. My only problem with them right now is that they could change direction of the game - thematically and gameplay wise. This is surely makes me hold back from buying Ubi's single player or PvE games from now on. For example: I damn well interested in FC5 and AC:O and I haven't even bought AC:O until now because I don't want to see that game I bought for PvE end up turning PvP - or even worse, having a forced PvP.
Am I the only one that sees this or that is reading between the lines?Originally Posted by UbiKeeba Go to original post
Also, what about the Red Headed Step Childs?... nothing for them? You do know I am talking about the Single Players, right?
PvE = Player vs Enemy ... so I would say that includes single player. Which means any coop content is also single player content (especially in a game that doesn't differentiate between single and coop).Originally Posted by GR_No_Joy Go to original post
The features that single player needs to become good most probably won't be tackled. I don't see them reworking the squad or addressing AI issues since those require major changes.
PvE means player versus environment not player versus enemy, just saying :POriginally Posted by biomag83 Go to original post
