"Uplay is unable to start your download. Check that you have an active internet connection and sufficient space on your hard drive then try again."
The game has already downloaded, it is at 35,89/35,89GB, yet it still wants to download something.
I have about 150 GB free space and my internet connection is fine.
I have tried:
-restarting uplay
-reinstalling the game
-restarting my PC
-lowering bandwidth (in this case, it first says almost there, 1m left, then gives me this message)
Any idea how to solve this?
There is a problem with Uplay - file repair/ locate files in an endless loop once you dare to repair coz Uplay always finds corruptions. Only option out of this mess is having a good game backup hence delete the original game and copy back from backup. Only then Play works again.
Why ubi does not care, dunno!?
Well I just bought the game and tried to download for the first time, so I don't have any backup...
I even downloaded the game with the bandwith limited to 2MB (yes, the whole 36gb), the only difference is that at the end of download I didn't get this message, it just stayed at "Downloading...99%", with 0B/s download speed for hours. pressed pause/resume a few times, nothing happened, put my pc to sleep, started it again this morning and got the same error
