    Cannot launch after 1.2.0 update

I was just playing normally few hour ago and quit a bit for the newest update on steam. Then I could no longer launch the game again. It crashes after the poster and a second of blackscreen.

I've tried (1) reinstall the game, (2) reinstall uplay, (3) reinstall steam, (4) reinstall nvidia GPU driver, (5) delete all save and config files relating ACO. Nothing works.

In the uplay log file it says "Failed receive local steam response for account". I don't know how to solve this. Don't know whether this is a server error or an executable run-time error.

Please offer any advice or solution. Please.

Turn off FXAA in Nvidia Control Panel. This works for me but now the game looks bad.

    Hi Evano_A!
I just checked your account. You said you own the game through Steam, but you do not currently have your Steam account linked. You have to link your Steam account to your Uplay account. Once you've done that, you should be able to update. If you still cannot, please try verifying your game files (Depending if you purchased the game through Steam or Uplay). If you are still unable to update, please make a ticket with your msinfo and dxdiag files attached. Our team will be able to look into this for you

    Temporarily solved the problem

I turned off the FXAA in my Nvidia Control Panel (in overall or specifically for acorigin.exe), and the game successfully launched.

Haven't encounter any other crash so far. However, this works if you have your in-game pre-anti-aliasing on, because playing 3D game without AA? You would not like to do that.

Now here comes another problem: I can't link or unlink my uplay-steam accounts any more. The uplay says they're not linked. But I can play ACOrigin and Watch_Dogs_2 through steam perfectly. No account-linking dialog has poped up. And I cannot unlink them through my ubisoft account webpage since it says they aren't linked. Weird.
