Let's take a stand against cronus max cheaters!!

If the developers can't ban or reduce the Cronus Max cheaters and exploiters we the community can !!!

So my suggestion is if you find yourself with or against some one using Cronus Max in last stand or skirmish leave the session .and if you find them in dark zone change the server .let's Make them feel lonely as they should be .

It's easy to spot and identify a Cronus Max user because most of the time they run a sasg that shots faster than a showstopper and there movement is obvious most of the time and easy to spot .

Let's make them leave this game because they are cheaters and exploiters .who ruin the game for all of us .

Easy fix from massive, just get SASG from the game! Or start baning cronus players! But they dont want to do that!

We already do that! The problem is that the use of chronus max is so widespread that you can switch servers numerous times and still find yourself in a server where it's use is prevalent.

The developers have said they are aware and "looking into it" but as always this means they are just hoping the issue will go away because they don't have an answer and probably won't even respond to this thread.

I personally have no objection to people using a M&K or even chronus max however where those devices give an obvious advantage to those players over regular controller users, anyone playing with modified devices should have to play on a separate server where they can compete against similarly equipped players. A 'stock' and 'modified' class if you like.

The problem as I understand it is that Massive are unable to detect the use of these devices because they emulate controllers in their input and appear to the game and console to be regular controllers. So whilst their use is apparent to the players, they remain 'invisible' to the system.

Now what this requires is for someone like Ubisoft to go to Sony and say that these devices ruin player enjoyment if not correctly regulated and state that unless something is done to stop their use or segregate the users so that they can be placed on different servers, future titles will not be released on PS4. But since Ubisoft appears more interested in making money than in player enjoyment I doubt that will ever happen.

But for the time being I don't think they are going to do anything about it . Because it's not interfering with there profits . $$ it's all about the money $$ not the players enjoyment .I think Sony and Microsoft are getting profits from license of Cronus Max .

    I don't PvP at all.
But, if I did why would I not buy one if everyone is using them. Competitive games require people to consider their hardware, be it internet connection or controller. Is it real that different than someone having 'the house' or full classified?

Yes it is. Some of the bonuses might be considered mediocre but aimbot scripts that allow you to hit headshots with hip fire and scripts that pop medkits for you at the last minute without requiring any input etc are game breaking in my opinion.

. It's a pure cheating method no question about it!!

It can give you a rapid fire mode /headshot auto aim /auto strafing cheeken dance /pop a med kit or a self heal when you are about to die /
It is not a hardware update it's a cheating device and I will never use or encourage using it . Use your skills instead

But some people would also argue that using a keyboard and mouse on a console is cheating.

I mean you can walk into any best buy and buy one. It doesn't alter the game software in anyway.

I don't understand why anyone would expect PvP to be fair in any game. There is a class of people that will look for any advantage.

It SHOULD be fair. It might be an unrealistic request when the developers have no interest whatsoever in player enjoyment but everyone has a right to expect it to be fair.

Mouse and Keyboard gives an advantage in my opinion and I believe people who choose to use them should play on a server with other M&K users.

The issue with the chronus max is that the developers have been asked if their use is cheating and they refuse to give an answer because if they say yes it puts pressure on them to eradicate the problem. However by saying nothing it leaves the door open in the future for them to ban anyone who has used them.

In my opinion if they cannot fix this and have no intention of doing so they need to come out like they did with the rpm glitch and say that no bans will be issued for people using chronus max. Let us all use them and be on an even playing field.
