The first time I tried to play online with others, every other player was scattered, three other players off doing their own thing.

What's the point?

People here will blame you for not using your mic and rallying every lone wolf with a war cry. This is a subpar game with a terrible community. That is all.

I won't play PvP games without friends. I won't play GW without at least 2 other mates.

I have my own issues with this game but friends make all the difference in the world.

I'm afraid you're correct. That's why I don't play PvP without at least one friend. Even then it's usually 2 v 4 because we get two randoms who can't pull a trigger to save their lives.

Still a group of friends, with the same playstyle are by far and large the best GRW experience.

tip: if you get in a game just look at the map, if they are all over the map, just get out and try to join another game, sometimes you're lucky

You're talking about PvE right? Quit, block the wandering person, do a new matchmaking.

Sometimes you could meet a streak of these type of players. Sometimes you meet the decent ones and I don't strictly mean that they are all mic-wearing full army roleplayer fellas. I've met quite a number of random team who just got nothing but common sense to play and it's always an absolute joy to run into these players.

Mostly luck of the draw. Sometimes if it is hopeless I'll single play it.

I'm more annoyed by people who come on with 3 guys working an objective and then spam their mission request. Then quit. Come help us and we'll help you.

If you can find good people, yeah. .....it's terrific via co-op.
