    Weekly Missions

for those who do the weekly missions, how do you do the 10 mission part? i've dropped to tier 1 and bounced btwn madison hosp and amherst. I've been on tier 5 and spammed lex. Doing this across 3 toons has gotten rather dull. How do you all break the mission req't monotony?

I only do it on one character, grinding through 30 missions a week would kill my enthusiasm for the game. Do the daily challenging each day, do the legendarys, and if I miss a day or so I just run through Madison.

I don't do that weekly because of the 10 missions... (yawn )

I do survival on 4 characters and that's it for now

I wish that the weekly was kill 50 named bosses and that was it....

Firstly, I try to treat it as a weekly and NOT a daily so often I won't run through all 10 missions in one go. I'll often incorporate two or three missions into a boss run since I usually fast travel to a number of missions to hit the bosses (Amherst, Police Academy, Queen's Tunnel Camp etc). I'll check the dailies as well and matchmake if I'm solo. Hit three missions solo on the boss run and then do the three daily missions and you are 60% done with very little effort. Come back the next day and do the three dailies again and you are one Amsherst speed run from completion.

Other than that we all put a Tac build on every character. Since 1.8 even my worst unoptimized build is better than my main Tac Build was in 1.7 because you don't need to worry about health rolls. Run in a pair if you have a mate (but no more than two due to the way NPC armor scales) with cluster seekers you just destroy the NPCs.

Or run Classified Deadeye ... even faster. Every purple is one shot, every Elite only two. Bosses 4-8 depending on type.

This is good advice too. Legendaries count so doing those contributes to the total whilst getting an Exotic cache.

Am I the only one that thinks it's stupid that challenge and legendary doesn't count for daily hard missions?

I used to set goals and challenge myself to see just how fast I could do Amherst and Madison but after a while, even that get's dull.
Once you hit the 3:30 time at Amherst, there's nowhere to go.

Now I just play the game and if the weekly happens,it happens. It usually pops when the DZ part is kills but never happens when it's extractions.

If you post stuff like this, you know they'll start specifing which "10 different missions" need to be completed...

Seriously, just make it 25 or 50 named enemies and let people run what they want...

    I agree.
They might as well leave the 10 missions alone though. Somebody will always figure out the fastest way to go.

But I would like to see the DZ stuff changed to be possible anywhere.
I think the weekly should be 100% possible inside or outside the DZ. Let everybody play where they want.

Like McKrachin and others, I don't run the weeklies if there is an extraction requirement. Just recently I can't bring myself to do the missions either, unless I am invited by friends. I've done them too many times now, tried variants like pistols only, shotty only etc etc to relieve the boredom but no, the game basically needs more content or different paths to get the weeklies.
