Stuck in windowed 720p after playing perfectly fine yesterday. | Forums

Played yesterday perfectly fine. Updated windows today (possibly the Meltdown update). Today, game is stuck in windowed 720p res on my ultrawide monitor.

Game resolution settings work fine on a 16:9 monitor. This problem only occurs on my Ultrawide monitor. Resolution only has the 720p setting and fullscreen/windowed mode doesn't do anything.

Tried rolling back nvidia drivers from the latest. No change.
Tried uninstalling ALL recent windows updates. No change.
Tried forcing resolution in .ini file. No change.
Tried deleting game folder in Documents. No change.
Tried running Uplay as Admin. No change.
Tried verifying game files. No change.

Running a 7700K, 16GB RAM, 1080Ti, Windows 10.

Well, if this isn't a dumb fix I don't know what is...

I enabled DSR in nvidia control panel. Set my Ultrawide screen res to 1920x1080. Started the game. It automatically went to fullscreen finally. Then I changed the res ingame to 2560x1080 which is what my monitor is meant to be. Can finally play the game again.

Exited the game. Set my screen resolution back to default (2560x1080) and tried the game again. Now it decides to open normally in fullscreen and give me all the screen options back.
