So it got worse this patch right? Am I the only one who spends literally 4-5 button clicks to set an immune box down to have it never go down. As well, coming out of ADS having to press medkits/heal 3-4x to die and come back to life with both on cooldown?
Seriously... Do we need to come in and show you the heal delay problem we see constantly?
How long was the delay between coming out of ADS and healing? Do you happen to have a clip of this issue so our team can take a look?Originally Posted by PostCarnage Go to original post
We are aware of both of the issues you mentioned here, but could use a bit more info on the healing after ADS problem.
I will gladly record several clips the next time I play and you can take a look. The heal delay issue is 90% of the time coming out of ADS and not being able to pop my heal ability. I can almost always medkit, but I try to save those. But if I'm really low I will opt to medkit over heal ability because of how long it takes to proc it.Originally Posted by UbiInsulin Go to original post
9/10 if I try to use heal ability, I will go to the ground doing the heal animation and it doesn't ever proc.
I will spend some time recording and putting together footage for you guys if that's what it takes because this is the worst I've seen it since launch.
It seems like the time from when the animation happens and the heal goes off to the time the heal is applied is honestly like half a second in most cases. Now this could be server side lag/latency issues - but I don't know as I'm not monitoring debug network stats.
However, running on my game studios network I think I'm alright there. A big question would be - how much strafing does your internal QA team do? It could be that strafing is interrupting it as I'm not sure if it's an animation issue or something else because sometimes it will do the anim several times and never work or it will not want to animate at all and grey out all of my skills as if I can't do them while not having any status effects applied.
look. we understand the decision of disabling first aid while shooting. more like gotten used to it, reallyOriginally Posted by UbiInsulin Go to original post
but first aid and support station now activates with a delay if its popped in the middle of a 'frantic' fight
why'd you need clip for this? dont you guys play the game yourself? you gona pretend that all these people are lying 'just because'?
fix this. fix. this.

The heal delay is 5 to 10 seconds with First Aid. The fact is that it is faster to drop a box and blow it up to get heal from a support station than to get a heal from first aid. I am literally smashing the button on my controller to proc first aid and the response is delayed by 5 secs or more. The heal delay has more of an impact in firefights because the response time is longer due to the server trying to respond to my client's action.Originally Posted by UbiInsulin Go to original post
As a developer myself - I know the struggle and am being a condescending fan. But sometimes playstyles of the public are completely different then the dev team. There are players who know how to play the game and then there are those that are beyond the level of devs.Originally Posted by nairda2k9 Go to original post
Working on a game is much different than loving a game and playing it for pleasure. Sometimes help from the gamers themselves is needed.
So - I would suggest if anyone has clips to showcase this issue - please share them to the team. I know I will cut one together to showcase it.
I honestly find my best bet is to pop a medkit because I was in a fight earlier where I dropped my heal box literally 3x without it ever deploying. It's a constant problem that I believe is related to animation and player movement. I think strafing too close to other objects can cause problems. Such as needing to get to cover around a corner causes a problem deploying the skill and you will reset the start of deploying the skill.Originally Posted by Demiz3r Go to original post
But not sure at all at this time.
