Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands
Uplay software is 32bit (only) and the game 64bit
The issues of running software that is 32bit on a Windows 64bit computer is that they are not compatible.
And the main website of ubisoft uplay is not that great because of the way we download the uplay software - application there are no options for picking 32bit or 64bit.
And also ive updated uplay software 46.0 lasted version but still doesn't want to work it's still 32bit of uplay.
Plus in away steam discussion for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is not working, ive been in contact with lawers they say sue ubisoft under beath of term and services because of the iusses of the game..
In my steam hours tracker it might say i've played 4hours but in ture i have played 0 hours due to crashes and game not loading now its became more the a joke ubisoft. . As always fixed your ****ing **** - im over ubisoft if i get banned from the fourm then that give me more reson to sue
. Not happy at all $100.00 aud down the toilet for a game that doesn't work.
I don't believe one second you've contacted any lawyers for this issue. I'm surprised you're capable of turning your PC on, let alone contacting any lawyers over a minor computer issue with a game. You probably stole the game online somewhere and came here to cry about it not working. If anything.. the threat alone, if UBISOFT really wanted to pursue it, they could rake you in the coals, and probably sue you for slander since you've never contacted them for assistance. I bet you've never thought about that have you manchild? I think you're the same kid that posted the same garbage on steam roughly the same time complaining about how your game will not run. This isn't a "breach of contract, or and unruly terms of service breach". Personally you're just some fuming manchild in a fit of rage because the game doesn't work on your garbage computer. I have a 64 bit system, and even at high settings i'm still able to maintain 43 fps with an RX 560 4gb card using an FX 6300 processor. So unless you're trying to run this game on a first gen Pentium using some card that doesn't have no more than 2gb's of vram on the card, then that's not Ubisoft's fault, that is YOUR fault for assuming your card is going to run a triple A game flawlessly.
Got issues with Wildlands?
Seems there are a lot of issues. As I discovered very few of them are GAME coding related.
I had endless issues for weeks with this one. From my CPU running at 100% resulting in glitchies to sound issues and still now having issues with game saves, weapon saves and progression in UPLAY.
The interface is the problem not the game.
After remaining conected to Uplay for hours and trying to join online games when finally after two days of staying conected for hours, reconnect, follow troubleshooting guides from UBISOFT (who pointlessly told me to disable everything ect ect ect....Evetrything I had running did not conflict with the game. IT WAS UPLAY all along.
Finally it seems I recieved update 1.1.4 or whatevs and the processor issue went away now running 60%Cpu and 60%Gpu nicely no glitches...
Thats when I noticed all my weapons and progression from plugging away at game whilst buggy and then finally getting additional updates weeks after install updates upon install.
1. WTF do these interfaces like UPLAY offer me besides A. Security Vunerablity which requires endless patching B.No way to force updates to resolve issues C.An inteface which opens four processes simply to let me play my game. D. An invasive, ineffective software management interface whiich behaves more like a corporate tool to force purchases after I have already purchased what is clearly a half finished early release console port. E. A problematic situation where multiformat games are suffering Intel, AMD, Apple,Nvidia proprietry software issues resulting in a buggy mess.
HERE IS A TIP FOR UBISOFT - PRODUCE PC GAME. PRODUCE CONSOLE GAME. PRODUCE APPLE GAME (lol) and stop trying to force very different formats to work of one production. AND make UPLAY what it should be - AN OPTIONAL PROGRAM TO MANAGE ONLINE INTERACTION. If I dont want UPLAY running for any of the above reasons I should be able to stop it and still play campaign.
SURE everything seems ok now after latest drivers, disbling everything and in uplays own goodtime and data usage and RAMMING adverts and stupid propositions to PURCHASE worthless COINS to sustain your greed... VIVA LA FREE ONLINE GAME PLATFORM WITH NO STUPID PRETEND COINS- its akin to selling me medicine then telling me if I take that medicine I also need to purchase unrelated products kinda smells like a thing ILLEGAL in AUSTRALIA called THIRD PARTY PRODUCT FORCING... UPLAY needs to A. be a platform not a #NedKelly highway robber.
Hey deancon1976, I responded to you on the other thread.
I don't see what any of your incoherent ramblings have to do with anything 32 bit or 64 bit. I have a 4gb video card and 12GB ram and a CPU and MB that is over 7 years old running a 64 bit windows 10 platform and I can run FC5 in all high/ultra settings at 45ish frames dipping to 35 sometimes, that said 64 windows allows you to run 32 bit processes.
I would think the main reason for 64 bit anything is to circumvent the limitation with ram ( more than 4 gbs in use) and other hardware limits of a 32 bit system.
A 32 bit launching program within win64 can allow a 64 bit game to load.
I have had no problem with Uplay of any of their games, apart from the loss of DLC content with the latest Far Cry 5 update/FC3 inserted to my games for buying gold version FC5 in which I believe they are working on fixing anyway.
I did reinstall windows recently and had to manually enable the EAClauncher.exe exemption through windows firewall to play FC5 but anyone with the internet can either be told how to do this or work it out themselves if they have just a tiny bit of windows experience. If this is not exempt that the game will not load or sync saves.
Maybe you should go back and research your problem and see if anyone on the forums has had a similar experience or even and this is just a hunch, Start a new thread, this time with actual information about your case, of which I am sure many peoples will be more than happy to share their knowledge on the topic at hand or point you to a thread that answers your topic.
