What improvement would you like to see on RONIN?
Does RONIN skillset need some new moves?
It seems like everyone is bashing ARAMUSHA aka RONIN ,and ppl that Like using him are losing interest in him EXTEMELY FAST,, but the FACT is that he NEEDS SOME IMPROVEMENTS on his skill set if the DEVs ever refine his skill set to reach his FULL POTENTIAL, ALL the ppl complaining are the ones who are afraid of being challenged and beat by this character and just like taking ADVANTAGE and EXPLOITING AL his weaknesses( funny noone complains about ALL the other characters OP moves you know who they are ..., Almost every character has either and unblockable, pancake move/ Charge n poke move(LB, Raider Conqueror, Warlord), or Bleed (Nobushi,Shinobi,, Shaman) or a FULL BLOCK Stance with a COUNTERMOVE(WARLORD,Conqueror are just a few examples < Think the BLOCKADE on ARA NEEDS BIGTIME IMPROVEMENT, due to it lack of capability of working like it should( its timing is slow, it does not last long enough to even make contact, and the counter hit rarely 1/2 of the time??so none uses it, its a useless move if it does function correctly.) Also his Speed on his skillset is becoming horrifically slow to wher even his RUSHING WIND is Parried(( WTF is up with that??, that is is prob one of his only best starter move)) His INFINITE COMBOs should at least match that of the BESERKER and SHAMAN , Dont you think DEVs?? Hopefully the DEVs take into STRONG consideration to rework his techniques and speed of his moveset before he gets NERFED HARD and a bifg chunk of the fans lose interest in the game.![]()
I couldn't get through all of that because your formatting is horrendous. My eyes...
The issue with Aramusha is he's built around a gimmick. Feint into light is a skill that players should have, but in comes Aramusha, lord of the spam, with his balance feat and you've got a rather obnoxious little fellow. Annoying to defend against, difficult to punish with traditional methods, and frankly boring to play. He's just there...spamming. It's all he can do. Spamming lights. Spamming heavies. Spamming heavies into lights. Spamming lights into heavies. He is to spamming what Cent is (was) to parrying.
I feel like the devs are making jokes of the meta with some of these heroes. "lul see what this does"
Holy **** Jedi learn to format. All you do is make your posts difficult to read.
Your posts don't need to be eye catching when you're the thread owner. People are going to notice your post.
All of the font-size alterations you make on top of eye-straining colorization and random capitalizing of every other word to emphasise certain points is completely lost because you've emphasized literally everything in your post.
Translation:
"Dear development team,
The Aramusha needs to be revisited. It is my opinion that everyone is slinging hatred upon this class so much that it has proven disheartening to new Aramusha Mains. I believe that the cry for nerfs is undue and what he actually needs is a buff.
It is my opinion that the loudest among us are unable to beat him in a stand up fight because of their over reliance on broken mechanics and exploits, this has nothing to do with their skill levels. Please disregard the suggestions of anyone who may fall into this category.
I am shocked and appalled that no one has raised a complaint about the numerous unblockable moves, wallsplat combinations, bleed damage or full-block follow-ups other characters possess (you know which ones).
Especially troublesome is the Aramusha's "Blade Blockade." It has a delayed start up and a short window of effectiveness, and half of the follow-up moves are not guaranteed. It has gone under-utilized by most of the player base.
I find that his basic attacks are slow as well. Even his Rushing Wind technique is outrageously slow and gets parried frequently. I demand an explanation! His infinite combo should at the very least compete with the Berserker and the Shaman (despite the latter not having a true infinite combo).
I dare say you should take some of my thoughts into consideration before you jump the gun and acquiesce to the popular cries of the uneducated masses, lest you lose a considerable population of your customers.
Yours truly,
Jedi X"
I took up aramusha probably 2 weeks ago. I quickly came to notice his limitations in battle. His openers are slow and very predictable making them easy to parry. Blade blockade is highly unreliable leaving you with your basic attacks which once again are easy to block unless you risk burning your stamina to feint and great openings. Aramusha's throws are ineffective at best unless your right beside a wall and even then the game can glitch leaving you to throw an open into opening where they can block your incoming attack or you have an option use a light attack and hope you can start your chain again. Aramusha definitely needs to be retooled so he can be a more effective one on one fighter.Originally Posted by Rahnzan Go to original post
