I just got done giving up on GRW for the day after my vehicle spawned smack in the middle of an uncleared enemy base for the fifth time. During my time playing, one of my friends’ vehicles spawned literally in a tree, causing the physics to bug out and flip the car onto its roof.
Upon arriving here at the forums, I took a minute to check the “Known Issues” thread. I found this:
[Gameplay] Vehicle drop-off spawning in unusual places [FIXED]
Some players are reporting having issues with Vehicles spawn points. It happens that vehicles are inaccessible or glitched into a building. The dev team is currently investigating the issue.
Vehicles may not be spawning in buildings anymore, but they’re definitely not spawning in the right spots. Please, Ubisoft, fix this already!
On to bug #2: The most extreme example of this bug that I have encountered was when my helicopter had just been locked onto by a SAM, so I tried to bail out. I was hovering above a canyon at the time, a few hundred feet up. However, the last foot or two of the helicopter’s tail was only three feet above a bridge, causing the game to think that I was too low to safely bail out (Really?! You think humans can’t survive a three-foot fall?!), so I wound up getting blown out of the sky.
Seriously, Ubisoft, are you even trying anymore?

Nope, Ubisuck isn’t even trying anymore. A whole week and no responses.
That’s a great way to keep your customers happy.

This. Is. PATHETIC. Although not any more or less than I really expected. Ubisuck has a broken game but they don’t care if their players are happy, they only care if people are still buying their game; thus, they focus entirely on marketing and PR instead of fixing the GLARING ISSUES their game has. They don’t seem to realize that by touting a broken game like it’s the reincarnation of Jesus they’re DESTROYING their reputation as a company. Although then again maybe they figure their reputation is screwed no matter what they do so they might as well just scrape what little money out of their games that they can. Which is completely the wrong way to go about it.
At least they’ve finally stopped forcing their players to reduce their network security just to play online.
Oh, and by the way, these forums are at least as broken as the game. Between initially posting this and trying to hit the edit button because I remembered something I hadn’t said, THE SYSTEM LOGGED ME OUT. GODDAMMIT UBISUCK FIX YOUR CRAP SO YOU CAN STOP LOSING PLAYERS. PLAYERS = MONEY. LONG TERM PLAYERS = MORE MONEY BECAUSE THEY TELL THEIR FRIENDS TO BUY YOUR GAMES. LOSING PLAYERS = LOSING THAT WORD OF MOUTH MARKETING = L O S I N G M O N E Y. I’ve never taken a single accounting or marketing class in my LIFE and I can see that, how the hell are you idiots blind to it?
