Question about first leg ?
Hey I was just confused and wanted to clear it up. Finishing in 1%, the rewards were all 10 map pieces for double barrel. 1 pieces of the air assault map, and it said "discover the location of reverse engineering". I only got 1 piece of reverse engineering, is that right? I thought track discovery meant you get the track? It says the same thing for this new leg of the race, discover the location of sloppy slopes.

Or and also, are the rewards different for each person for each leg? I read someone mention that among their rewards was a paintjob, but I have not seen a paintjob offered as a reward? Thanks for any clarification!

I got the same rewards as you for 1%; the phrases used in the rewards seem a little misleading now that we have the rewards, IMO. I expected all of Reverse Engineering baes on phrasing, but oh well...
This time if you will see either gems or bandito blueprints, if you are missing any...

yeah, some of the rewards can vary, like they can in bunker, depending on if you already have the item or not. This time its blueprints or gems; maybe last time it was a specific paintjob or gems?

There was no any PJs in the leg 1 rewards. Only BPs can be replaced by gems, it's the only possible difference.

Thanks you guys for your help. I don't need anymore blueprints, and the post I read about the guy seeing a pj on his rewards list wasn't specific. It just said "paintjob". And I agree xitooner I felt a bit mislead with the description as well. I went and reread the RL post about the event and it's description and it says reverse engineering is a prize for being in 1% every leg, but I swear I don't remember it worded that way during my first time reading it. Haha that does NOT mean it wasn't tho lol, getting old sucks. It's just weird, this legs prizes include 2 pieces of air assault, the track I only got 1 map piece from on the first leg. So maybe (hopefully) if I can keep in the 1% the whole event I will eventually get all the pieces? I have only seen a map piece once on the loot wheel for some reason so it's doubtful I will have those tracks by the end of the race. Which sucks. Pj would be nice there are a few you guys have that I have wanted for a while now lol.

Also in this leg, it has "reveal the hidden location of sloppy slopes" as the reward for finishing in 15%. In the picture of this reward instead of a map piece it has the rolled up map. The whole map. ? Same as it did for reverse engineering. After 10 pieces of a track are found I have to click on "discover track" before I can race it. All of this tells me that I will have all of sloppy slopes if I finish the leg in atleast top 15%. Right? Because for all the other new track related rewards, there is only a map piece or several map pieces if the whole track is not being offered as a reward. So if I see a rolled up map, just like when you earn a new track in the bunker, I think to myself "I'ma get a new track yaaay". Why is it different in this event?

I was the person referring to the pj but it wasn’t in the actual prizes. I said they should not show a spray paint can with the prize box (main page for Dakar challenge not where you see the tracks) and then not have them in the prize pool. I’m glad it’s tracks for prizes and not pjs but easily could be the other way. Hmm, hmm Midnight Circuit...I’m talking to you. “High chance of tracks, outfits” but only get parts, gold tickets and gems.
