Like the cent was before the “Balancing” patches the aramusha is just not fun to go up against if the only way to punish that character is by parrying. Especially if you’re up against more than just one at once. They look se stamina very slowly more than other characters who lose more for fainting while the aramusha can spam faints into every thing. Now going no up against 3 or 4 is just cancer like the cent was; at least you can punish the cent for everything now why can’t the aramusha be punished like the cent. That rocksteady feat is broken for that character since that character could spam spam spam and no punish. As if seen it parrying is the only way to punish the aramusha nothing fun about playing turtle against the aramusha because soon the defensive meta changes will change the play style. You know you can punish the shugoki even when he’s out of stamina even if he has that feat but not the aramusha because that character has more mobility than the shugoki. You can even punish the berserker even if he spams but not the aramusha.
Please fix that character in 4v4 dominion just not fun going up against a lynch mob of aramushas.
Sorry if Lynch mob was too much but that is what it feels like going up against 4 aramushas, that is what it felt like to go up against 4 centurions.
people shouldn't ignore the fact that aramusha is not fun to go up against in dominion 4v4. Like no one bats an eye for that but if cent can do something the whole community outrages to nerf cent to the point of no return; look how quickly they balanced the shaman but its taking for ever to balance the aramusha what is this?
Cent got balance every patch, shaman got balanced almost instantly but the aramusha is still running around with out any changes
I agree, his Rocksteady needs looking at or better yet, completely removed and replaced with something else.
Thing is, with Shaman, it's adjusting numbers and values on her attacks. That's why they're able to do this quickly. Whereas with Aramusha, it's a feat problem, not moveset problem. Other than needing to adjust his stamina usage, they would also need to replace his feat; something which creates a lot of debate. So they just wait on community feedback until they eventually snap and decide to readjust Aramusha. I think this will take till February.
On a note, Shaman still needs quite a few rebalances. They haven't properly adjusted her just yet. They only did like 2-3 things. There's still 6-7 things that need adjustments.
Aramusha’s blade blockade makes him much more vulnerable than you believe and guard breaks can simply stop his chain, he’s super weak, ranked F tier. He’s known as the noob punisher for a reason, his description clearly mentions him as relying on your opponents mistakes, even though “balanced” cent is still an S tier hero along with Shaman and Gladiator for obvious reasons.
Aramusha is too slow to engage battle and is easily punished because of that.
He rather needs a buff that makes his blade blockade punishes a lot stronger and a forward guardbreak leap and faster ordinary feints, about then he’ll be viable.
Ara is second weakest character in the game. Get good. His only advantage is a bug with reflex guard so he can spam assassins. That's about it. His light spam is predictable. He gets no heavies on GB. only on light parries. If anything, fix reflex guard, and then buff him, give him heavies on a GB. Then he'll be fine.
Getting heavy attacks on GBs would be useful yes, but still no enough. I’ll say it again, the blade blockade is weak, the punish is weak and you won’t be able to successfully use it in higher skill games, and since the punish is disturbingly weak it’s easy to avoid and when you get punished you’ll manage without a bigger problem. An even greater problem is him not being able to live up to the feint master he’s supposed to be, the only potential he has honestly, he needs a bash GB leap which he must be able to swiftly feint into, he’s weak aggressively and defensively. To make him more defensive whatsoever he needs a stronger blade blockade and much stronger punishes.
What I’m saying now is not new but you people who wants him nerfed gets punished by the “Noob Punisher” for a reason.
What I’m implying is that Aramusha is an incredibly weak hero, who is easy to counter and who also needs a buff.
An additional appointment to what’s already been said his heavy feints are too slow and too stamina draining, he should be able to feint a lot, not only with the infinity chain.
This may sound like complete bs but trust me, heroes like Shaman, Centurion and Gladiator wouldn’t even be affected by his since they are more abusable than any other heroes.
If you’ve ever looked at the Aramusha move set you know it’s short, very short. Aramusha is not very viable and adaptable because of this, what could make him more viable in addition to what I’ve already said is a superior block/reflect by moving into the attack and use the blade blockade and maybe get a GB by doing this.
If these changes and suggestions would all be added Aramusha could probably be a B tier hero and also enjoyable.
If this being to overpowered would be a thing just slightly lowering his base damage could balance it.
