I have the same issue and i have an i7, 1080ti

I am not disabling SMT just to play this game without crashes. They need to address this, as this is affecting a large amount of users on these support forums.

I've been experiecing this chrashes since I've upgraded my build from i5 to Ryzen 5 1600X, and I bought Ryzen in a pre-purchase, so.... That's a long time, This is happening to me since the last days of operation health!

I got silver patent in operation Velvet because I was not able to play ranked matches like that, then I've decided to uninstall the game after trying to do everything, opening tickets, posting threads here, and know what's sad? When I criticize Ubi on their facebook posts because of this, Ubisoft does not even answer back.

Well, now a new season started and I gave another chance to the game, guess what? ..... crashed after few minutes while gaming.

So.... I'll uninstall it again, and never.... never.... buy ubisfot games again, I know this won't change nothing for them, but it changes for me, because I'll not be a fool anymore, Because I gave A LOT OF MONEY to them and I SIMPLY CAN'T USE WHAT A PAID FOR AND THEY SIMPLY LEAVE IT LIKE THIS!

    THANK YOU UBI! THANK YOU!

Hey guys! We are investigating this issue. Would you please make a ticket with your msinfo and dxdiag files attached? These files help us determine possible crashing issues. Thanks!

i think its because of the XMP profile, my ram is 3200 natively, but obviously it underclocks to 2100, so when i set it to 2933-3066 it runs fine but when it goes to 3133 or 3200, i start getting random crashes, only on siege, all my other programs / games run fine. im posting this in multiple threads hoping ubi looks into this.

    Fix this already

As of 28/03/18 it still crashes the game... i have SMT disabled and sometimes i can get 2-3hrs in with no crashes or just 30min before i'm headed to the desktop. with SMT enabled its like 5 min what is even more amusing is how ubisoft is currently plugin a Ultimate Ryzen pc build guide its actually sick that this problem is going on for almost 5 months with no fix

    Try going into the GameSettings.ini (Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\...\GameSettings.ini) file and set EnableAMDMultiDraw=1 to EnableAMDMultiDraw=0, and also MaxGPUBufferedFrame=1 to MaxGPUBufferedFrame=2

    See if it helps.

Similar problems here with an AMD FX6300, but not so constant.
Not to mention the framerate drop, it goes from 60 to 5~12FPS and keeps that way, sometimes during a round, sometimes several matches in a row.
