Hello,
I'm posting on behalf of all the AMD Ryzen users. I'm seriously impressed by Ubisoft that they CAN release new operators and s*** every month but can't fix stupid bugs like this? Literally all AMD Ryzen users are getting random crashes mid-game, including myself!
Okay so here's what happens. During mid-game, randomly, the game freezes, audio keeps playing and after 5-10 seconds it crashes back on desktop. This has been happening since the White Noise update.
And if you're thinking this problem is unique to me, believe me, I've asked over 10 people who own Ryzen and they're all encountering the exact same issue. I have tried disabling overlays, updating all drivers, new windows, etc. NOTHING works. It's some bug only the devs can fix.
So, it's my humble request, CAN YOU PLEASE FIX IT? I've sent crash reports multiple times too. Please fix it, it's making the game literally unplayable for me. Just got crashed out 2 times in a single RANKED match. Sometimes it works fine for hours but sometimes it's much more common. Please Ubi, fix.
I'm using an AMD Ryzen 1700 with a GTX 1080Ti. But this issue is with all Ryzen series and it's much more common with Ryzen paired with Nvidia GPUs.
I've provided you with all the details I know.
Sorry for long post, I'm just really frustrated.
Thanks.
Sorry its not only Ryzen, are you just a intel fanboy trying to make Ryzen look bad? I have many people it crashes with Intel also, the thing that I am getting is everyone I know that crashes with is we all have GTX 1080 variants. Maybe it is the new Nvidia drivers...
Blaming it on Ryzen is foolish if you have no proof.
Same for me...
I have both an Intel and amd machine
Intel i7 7700HQ
GTX 1060 6GB
16 GB of ram
Ryzen 7 1700
GTX 1060 6GB
8 GB of ram
Both of them have an SSD and an HDD
Intel is a new Laptop i got about a month ago
AMD is a desktop i had for over 5 years upgraded it over time, JUST WIPED EVERYTHING yesterday.
Only the Ryzen is having problems, and I do like AMD as I had it for over 5 years by itself so I am not a fanboy of anyside, as long as the computer works im happy

The thing is, this crash is more common on AMD. Almost all Ryzen users are experiencing this, but not all Intel users. This doesn't make Ryzen look bad, it makes Ubisoft look bad because they couldn't make their game adapt to new hardware. It's not Ryzen or Nvidia's fault, it's Ubisoft's.
Yup... 5-10 sec freeze then crash... everything is the same here... what a bs, contacted support... theyre saying its my pc fault ? you fkin kidding me ? fresh windows and still my pc fault ? Also he said to me to disable battleye and steam services... xD what a joke i cant believe that they have somekind of guys calling themselves "Agents" that are solving the problem... xD if they dont know what battleye and steam service is used for and what happens after you disable them they i think theyre morons...
btw ubi, give us a fix without all this bs
