This game is an absolute mess. I heard people saying this game was optimized, how? I am so glad I got this game as part of the Blue Yeti mic and game combo.
So, like I usually do, I installed this game to one of my large HDDs. Ever since the beta, this game freezes up within 5 seconds of loading the campaign, the only difference with the full version is that it can freeze in the menu or the intros as well. I've uninstalled and reinstalled every kind of program or driver based solution, like my NVIDIA drivers, my audio drivers, uplay, the game itself.. just not my operating system because I'm not doing that for one game. These solutions don't work. I have DIsplay Fusion and I have turned it off to get it to work and it's a no-go, I'm not uninstalling that because it's fully functional with every other game I play. I've defragged my HDDs too, and tried reinstalling it to other drives.
This is a normal case, and when I try this, it'll freeze permanently. Every. Time.
An SSD is a different case, I took an SDD and installed it to that. Small note: installation on normal HDD - I can get to the main menu healthy like, everything loads (just not the actual game, it freezes up). Installation on SSD: freeze on warning label screen for 45 seconds, load normally, and actually be able to load into the game (I got excited when I was able to pick a character) I don't do PVP so I don't know if MP works. Borderless and window only, because on fullscreen it launches and stays minimized, probably an issue on my end since my display driver crashes sometimes but I confidently think that the game being this faulty is not on my end.
Anyone got any further solutions I can do to avoid this intro freeze?

Have you check the settings such as the CPU affinity or CPU Priority in Task Manger for the game? Let me know what you find.

The CPU priority is normal but the affinity, well it says access denied.

Since I can't edit my post, clicked on the option to see all proccesses to enable Task Manager to run in admin mode, and was able to, the affinity is set on all 8 cores

Same problem. The game loads, I can run the benchmark fine, the intro movies play but it freezes either during the load screen or as soon as you get control of your character after exiting the intro helicopter. Help would be a appreciated... It would be nice to be able to play a game you've paid for. i7 7700k GTX 1080
