You may need to work on your build. Consider a Striker, Lonestar, or D3 (great for getting up close and personal) build to counter them. or maybe a well done Hexotic. You could also try a Tac BFB against them but you'll have to be super patient since Disrupt will lock up your skills.

No. Fireturret is not crowd control.
Airburst Seeker (yes, that still works)

    Shock Turret

I used Fire turret for crowd control. At least till they made everyone immune to it. Besides Turret, Stickies, and Seekers used to all be for crowd control till players whined about it being too OP.

Seekers do the On Fire status effect. Fire effect does not always guarantee lockdown state. Npc's can still run and blindfire you while on fire. Shock turret puts the Npc's on their knees therefore making it impossible to shoot the said npc if he was behind cover and the effect is also very short and cannot target multiple npc's.

Seekers also make Npc's run away. Usually to a place where you cannot shoot them. Same as all Turrets.

But there simply is no counter and not one npc can do anything when hit by Flashbang. Flash has longer effect duration and it makes the npc stand up straight not wiggling the head or ducking down to all fours making those MDR sentry stacks super easy.

But this OP effect only shines with a sentry build not focused on firearms (Sentry does not need firearms). Good skill haste and skill power is a requirement as is the Sticky Bomb explosion radius mods. Then you can go to town and nothing can stop you.

The problem is players are playing it too safe. Or rather not safe enough. I was in a underground and we came on hunters. I was running around all over the place waiting for a good oppertunity to get some good shots in (they were kind of chasing us). The others only kept in a bit of distance and ultimately got killed and even left. As for me I pulled back far away and then took out a hunter on my own. Against 3 of them.

Then I got killed by the others. Had the players not left we might have made it. People get too scared of them due to the close range kills. I find that being somewhat close actually helps with damaging then. Just got to be ready to roll away at a moments notice. I was using an SMG myself.

I've been using smoke seekers on my low skill builds. Mainly because I find situations where the enemy is spread out and a flashbang is only going to get a couple at most.

But the earlier post is right, it is a pain at times how they make the enemy run away. Of course, their are times when that is just what I need to get some health back.

As for hunters, yeah the trick is to get used to when you need to switch weapons to avoid shock, and when you need to reload and avoid reloads to get that last bit of health off them before they can heal up.

Very often I don't time this right and they get to a sliver of health just as I need to reload or switch weapons and my other weapon is also low on ammo, then they heal while I can't shoot.

Don't forget you can pull out your pistol for those last few shots to finish them and keep them from healing.
