i was looking forward to playing this game on my day off, well thank you for ****ing my day up...
bought it on steam, not working, tried all kinds of fixes posted on this forum.
some said it's because of steam, so i asked for a refund and bought it on uplay..
same problem...
and yeah, I'm sure it has to run, I have the right pc specs

Hi there, I tried nearly everything suggested too, but I wasn't going to download the game again, if I could help it.
I looked at the "Easy anti cheat" folder, in the Wildlands game folder in Steam, on my PC.
( G:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Wildlands\EasyAntiChe at )
I went into the folder and found the "easy anti cheat setup" icon, right clicked it, then left click Run as admin,
chose Wildlands from the drop down list and installed the certificate.
What may also have helped, is that my anti virus had quarantined one of the files from there as untrusted (in System 32).
I uninstalled that anti virus, as I have one on the PC already and was testing a free version.
I scanned system 32 with my current AV version and no problem was found.
I restarted the PC, ran Steam, with Uplay signed-in, verified the Wildlands game cache
in Steam, pressed play and when it went past the first part and into character customisation, was able to play and complete the first mission.
