Have you seen how many cards you need to upgrade one card to level 6?

You will need 1315 duplicates to upgrade 'common' card from level 1 to level 6, 852 duplicates for 'rare' card, 484 duplicates for 'epic' card. This is insane numbers.

Just imagine how many packs you should open to get one deck (12 characters) to level 6. Also you would need decent amount of gold and upgrade materials (which I wont count at all).

My current deck includes 6 common cards, 3 rares and 3 epics. So it requires 7890+2556+1452=11898 duplicates to upgrade whole deck to level 6. Now imagine that you are F2P player and you are getting 3 PvP packs in a day (15 cards (at rank 35) + 6 cards from Cartman = 21 cards in a day). Even if I will get only these 12 cards (which im using in my deck) from PvP and Catrman packs, it would take me 567 days (11898:21) to upgrade them to level 6. With current drop system you could easly multiply this day counting to 8-9 times (since we have 103 cards at this moment). So 567*8,5 = 4816 days. 4816:365 = ~13 years would take you to get 12 cards at level 6 on F2P account.

Actually it would take much more time since I didnt count rare-epic drop chances (because we dont have such info) and upgrading materials required to level up them instantly.

I think your math is a little off on some accounts.
A common card takes 5 to go to level 10, 10 for level 3, 50 for level 4, 250 for level 5 and 1000 duplicates for level 6. So 1315 duplicates to go from level 1 to 6 for a common, not 4315. Your duplicate amounts for rare and epic are probably corect.
Besides packs and lockers, you can also get common and rare cards from donations by your team members. That is how I got my 2 level 5 cards. But off course, that doesn't work for epic and legendary cards.
You can also buy cards with pvp tickets and Cartman coins. It's not a lot, but over 33 years this adds up
There are also additional packs from events. Also not a lot, but same remark as with the pvp tickets and Cartman shop.

However, although there are a few mistakes in your math, especialy the amount of commons required and not counting donations, you're probably not far from the truth. Based on my own experience of the effort needed to get my 2 level 5 commons, I'm estimating it takes almost 6 months to get a single common card to level 6 IF you focus on that card by only requesting that card from your team and asuming they stay willing to donate it to you. And that is just a single common card. Of course in the mean time you will also gather other cards, so getting that second level 6 will take less additional time than the first. But than we are only considering commons, rare, epic and legendary will take much longer.

And as a final remark. You mention f2p, but with these kinds of numbers, being a f2p player or paying for the game doesn't really matter anymore unless you are willing to spend thousands of dollars/euros. Lets's say you buy 18000 in game dollars, costing you €165 (I live in Belgium, so I count in Euros). And you only spend it to refresh the pvp counter, which is the most economically efficient way of spending your money, than you get an additional 400 pvp packs. Assuming you can get 3 pvp packs a day anyway, this means 400 packs corresponds to about 133 days or roughly 4.5 months. So instead of 33 years, it now takes you 32 years and 7.5 months . I admit, my math is also quick and dirty, but I think €165 corresponds to roughly 4 months of f2p pvp packs. Off course if you simply buy packs, it's even much less.

Yeah I was kinda drunk when I wrote this text, haHA. Math is kinda fine, but I mixed 6 level goal with 7 level for common cards, thats why I got these huge numbers (I will update my text if you dont mind). To reach level 6 you actually need 1315 duplicates for common, 852 for rare, 484 for epic to get level 6. Proof:
Going back to my deck (6 common cards, 3 rares and 3 epics) and my simply math once again, it would take me (6x1315)+(3x852)+(3x484):21*8.5:365= ~13 years.

You are completly right, that we still getting rest cards while farming our deck, but the main problem of it is upgrade materials and a gold.
Even 6 common cards required 3540 bronze materials, 1710 silver materials, 540 gold materials, 163860 gold to level up 6 level. And depending on rarity card it requires much more materials to level up. So even if we spend around 13 years to farm duplicates to reach level 6 doesnt mean that we actually would be availeble to level up them with F2P account, which is sad.

I havent played F2P mobile games before (I tho that it was tottaly waste of time) but I enjoy playing South Park, so the whole upgrade economy simply shocked me. I feel like even if I would spend all money from selling my current house it would be not enough to play this game comfortably at high legendary ranks.

It was your text, so update to correct your error all you want . I must say by the way that I really liked your post and that you are looking into the economy of upgrading. I'm also somebody who likes to look into things like this.

Personally I'm a big fan of South Park, otherwise I wouldn't have given this game a try. So far I have really enjoyed it and the characters are nicely designed, but something will have to change for me to keep playing. Upgrading a single card in my deck has become a work of weeks, if I'm lucky enough to get the cards and materials. I don't have the resources to get a different deck at the same level as the one I use now. I am also a f2p player, but as I said, at some point throwing a few hundred dollars/euros at it, won't make that much of a difference. At this moment I feel there is too little strategy involved in winning. Unless you absolutely suck and/or have a completely unbalanced deck, it mainly comes down to luck and having higher leveled cards.

Also I have seen a lot of people complaining about cheaters. I must admit that at first I thought they were exagerating and also whining a bit, but after dropping from pvp level 48 to 44 in a few days, while seeing the weirdest things happening, I think they are right. Including a guy who put a Program Stan (Sci-Fi), Zen Cartman (Mystcal) AND Smuggler Ike (Adventure) on the board. He wasn't even trying to hide his cheating. Frustration starts to get very big at that point.

Don't need all that math to find out that the game is extremely p2w, its even pay or gtfo I'd say.

As there is no way to farm materials, the game should already be near a peak where most f2p get bored and slowly drop the game for the reasons above, it may take weeks to get the stuff to level 1 card. And it is impossible to switch decks or invest on other cards. = game diversity completly dead.
The game really needs a feature where you can farm (at a low rate) or trade unwanted materials for others, to keep a decent player base. Meaning f2p "could" match p2w while they are getting their card limit.

The problem of players who invest cash is the card limit, and of the f2p is the materials for updrages. I would match easily some level 5 decks if my level 4 were all maxed... but I need like 2XX silver arrows lol.

Will see hows the game goes at the start of the year, but its current state, and with the other issues (balance, cheaters, etc..) I am not very confident for 2018 .
Kinda sux, as I really likes the game but the end, the game is phun destroyer, not phone destroyer

Jesus you if you people spent less time crying about upgrading and more time playing you would find that you can f2p and survive just fine. Get in a team that doesn’t suck. And farm pvp. You get 20 wins a day to open lockers. Not to mention the three free packs from pvp you get while doing those wins. Play the game and quit begging for free ****.

Writing this text took me 20 minutes. Upgrading one card to level 6 will take me few years even with getting 20 lockers in a day (which is 'nolife' game plan), but while you talking about PvP packs and other free staff, I got that you didnt even read anything in this thread. Even if I'll bring several thousand of $ to this game it wont help me much, since there is a players which already have level 6 cards. I can only compare this game to expensive girlfriend which you wont ever marry.

My brain hurts....my eyes are blurry...and my spirits are crushed. Now I can't wait to get to the legendary ranks. The most useful piece of information was the 20 win locker limit. I've yet to hit that in a day...and I've played a lot.
