OK Batman, riddle me this. Why the devs infinite wisdom wants us to aim our weapon in order to attach the suppressor, switch to single, burst or full auto fire, and to switch to use the 203? (That is if your using it) Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense dose it?

It's likely due to the limited buttons on console controllers. I don't know if PC players have to abide by the same rules; I'm certain they can bind their own keys.

Nope. I'm on a PC, and the "AIM" keybinding is linked to the "Attachment" keybinding. I have never heard of this combination in ANY other shooter out there. Past, Present, and into the Future. It's nonsense and gets you dead very fast when you need to swith.

Just another example of how PC players need to suffer from restriction that never should have been an issue in the first place...

Right, I get that. But I have never seen this done in any other game. Think about it. You need to aim your weapon in order to add an attachment, switch to a 203, or select fire?

Not a PC vs console issue! This is just as much a problem when using a console and could have avoided.

I try to play using real world tactics and avoid getting shot, most of the times I manage to do it, except when i'm taking cover and sometimes have to step back a bit do avoid jumping out of cover when trying to switch to auto, or use the grenade launcher. (There should be an option to avoid this auto lean when in cover - I would much more like a lean button)

And to be able to use things without the necessity to aim my gun to do so...

Also started playing Tier 1 mode, and realized that the enemy AI can now shoot me without seeing me (Much like the Team AI when we select the Tag - sync shot option ) I was on top of a rock, and they shot me before even having me in the line of sight...

Agreed. This all could have been easily avoided by adopting a control scheme like those that were in the previous games. I’m not sure why they rolled with what’s in the game currently, but many of these issues could have been avoided by simply allowing the player to press and hold a button to toggle different options. For example, holding down the reload button which could bring up a little toggle menu that could let you change ROF in addition to attaching/removing suppressors sort of like in the R6 Vegas games.

For me the biggest issue is cycling through gadgets - if you’re in a rush it’s too easy to click past the one you’re looking for.
