I really don't see the change between rogue of the past and the new 2.0. I did notice lately that packs of rogues are hanging out at extraction points and stealing loot from non-rogue players. I fell victim to this 3 times in the last 2 days. How can a single player trying to complete daily's be successful when rogues are camping around extractions? It's frustrating as hell. I like to think i have a pretty good 6 piece Banshee build with The House as the primary but i can;t take on 4 rogues by myself. Any suggestions on how to survive this? I like the DZ for the PvE bosses and other things but i hate losing the stuff i worked hard to collect.
Always going to be that chance of getting ganked no matter what they do as long as the DZ is PVPVE. Sometimes its best to just log out and log back in to get on a different server if the one you are on is full of Rogues. Yes, its a hassle, especially since the Division has the second longest load time of any game ive ever owned. You also can just respawn at a different checkpoint or even after you get hit the first time or see players around you then Fast Travel to a different part of the DZ, The top levels 6-9 are the best place to farm. Most Rogues dont go up there unless the manhunt station draws them up there because they love to stay in the lower levels and pick on the newer agents who are usually in the lower tiers as the NPCS arent as tough so they know the new guys are down there. Most dont want a fight, most like to pick out agents who are either solo or at least have less team members than they do so its an easy kill. Good luck out there man and if you are on PS4 feel free to add me and ill help you get some loot. Its almost impossible for a newer player to succeed in this game due to the jacked up RNG in this game. Other than a reclaimer chest piece im not looking for anything so all gear you need past that i would have no issue with sharing.
Until you remove everything from your inventory and stash to a mule character you will not be able to drop a tier.Originally Posted by Jimmy-48-B Go to original post
Its a toss up, wait before you put your stuff on the rope then if you get griefed you only lose some of th gear, repeatedly come out and wave at them until you get them to man hunt then they can't hide on the radar, and will usually draw other scrubs to them now, so you can pick up non [public items and a new extraction point. I don't worry about it too much, and set the extraction off where I'm close to the rope and am elevated. I leave some npc around and keep my stirker ticker up, and when someone tries to cut the rope they have about 2 seconds to live.
Is that unique to DZ? I tier dropped in west piers with all existing inventory no problem.Originally Posted by gt2k Go to original post
yeah, not sure on this one as we dropped a few tiers the other day to test something and had no issues. Right after the update the game was automatically putting me in tier 4 when i loaded as well.Originally Posted by Jimmy-48-B Go to original post
That is DZ related. You have to do that because the system automatically places you in the correct DZ regardless of what you set the world tier at.Originally Posted by Jimmy-48-B Go to original post
