Lol FFS, I just bought this game, but I guess this was happening to people back in March? Anyone know how to work around this bug? I haven't found any answers.
I've been deleting saved games to start over fresh with better gameplay because I'm obsessive like that I guess.....I've done this like 3 times, with the third time being the FIRST time I found a weapon box to loot i(t was that first red dot sight you get.). Now I deleted that final save to get a cleaner start to the game since I started to get a hang of the controls....only I can't loot the weapon crate this time. It just says "triangle for Loadout".
So the weapon box just acts as a quick way to get to the loadout screen.
It's the crate for the panoramic sight btw.

Alright, I think I found a work around for it. Have to wait and see if I come across any weapon/weapon part caches that won't open in the future though.
So anyways, instead of closing GRW and restarting it- which didn't work for whatever reason, I instead just shut my Ps4 off entirely and restarted the console and I didn't even manually load my single save file, I just hit the first option which was just continue from my last save, and the weapon caches were accessible. I even got my m40a5 back as well.
It's worth noting though, that I only have one save file I'm utilizing, not two like the majority of the threads I've been reading.
