I heard the old heroes will be getting buffed and re-balanced. One thing all characters definitely need is the ability to do a light into heavy and heavy into heavy combo. The characters that don't have the ability to do this are really lacking in mix-up potential. Valk for instance can only either do one light or one heavy. There's no feint potential for her after her first attack you know another unfeintable light is coming next just asking to be parried. She's just a bad Gladiator at this point. She's still some what useful in group fights, but one on one she's very lacking. She doesn't get a guaranteed light after shield crush yet it's still very punishable, all her dash attacks are free guard breaks on block, leg sweep is easily dodged on reaction and punished, and the lowest damage numbers on her attacks. There's just not a lot she can really do against good players, on PC at least.

He was referring that Valkyrie = bad version of Gladiator. Which is also inaccurate, as the two can't really be compared. Still, he has a point, Valk def needs a buff.Originally Posted by Ackturi Go to original post

Well, I'd say Valk is like Gladiator in terms of having quick lights, a bleed deflect that can combo into other things, and being able to mix unblockables into her move set. She is just a much worse version of it. You can even say she is a bad version of Centurion. His punch is very comparable to shield crush except he gets a free light and it's really hard to punish and she gets nothing and is very easy to punish. She just has nothing going for her compared to the new and improved versions.
