    For Honor and the gamers

    Hello there,

I`ve played For Honor since the Beta and at the beginning I`ve been extremely hyped - I loved it, but after the big problems occured and got public I left this
game until now, but I still followed the news and forum threads. This days I decided to come back to this game - the idea of this game is great, something outstanding
and i still hope that it gets a great comeback. But there are a view things I think both sides (Ubisoft and the gamers) did wrong and are
maybe still doing wrong which should be done better:

    1.) Ubisoft:

    - Very often you give me the feeling (independent to a specific game) that you`re not really interested in the community feedback, wishes and suggestions.
Yes you got some community mangers, but either they`re not doing good work filtering and representig the community feedback, or they`re just some political
but for the developement irrelevant thing for you. I don`t know. Please listen seriously to the community! I know that the gaming community got more and more
salty over the last years, but there`re still many people outside that are not. Get some thick skin to unconstructive critics and stay motivated to receive
usefull feedback! It`s the same beeing a "VIP" - they`ve to be steadfest too during reading some bad-mouth articles about themselves.

    - Please get some more love to your games during the developement, every game you`ve thrown out the last time(especially For Honor) has been a totally letdown at the
beginning. Not because of the ideas (your ideas for games are great in principal) but because of the technical permutation. Everybody in my environment is
only talking about that Ubisoft isn`t able to produce something working. You managed it with R6 - it got great again and rised finally to a fantastic game - but
only after a view month! This shouldn`t be the way of game developing and implementation.

    - Hopefully you don`t abandon For Honor. This game has so much potential, the idea and setting is unbelievable great and with some redesign of a view things
I believe that the comeback is possible! There`s nothing comparable in my opinion (aside from the technical side).

    2.) The gamers:

    - I don`t know why very many players are only crying around without giving constructive suggestions. More and more the gaming community got salty over the
last years, and that`s the reason why some devs don`t want to take part of the happenings inside forums. Yes some moments are maybe frustrating in games,
but please before you get to a forum releasing all the frustration calm down and spend some moments thinking about possible solutions, and not only solutions
the devs should do - maybe some of the faults done by yourself. It`s comprehensible to get frustraded about bugs, glitches etc. that are not going to be fixed
soon - you`ve spend your money - but that`s the reason why I try to appeal to Ubi in the section above. Have you unlearned to loose? Where`s your fighting
spirit gone? Try to learn from looses and mistakes and take yourself with this experiences to another level. And think of the other players.. they are here to have
fun and come together with other people. And imagine you would react like you do sometimes in real life (throwing your tennis racket at your antagonist, leaving
the tennis court and finally writing agressive words to the forum or pin board of your club for example *sry, i`ve to laugh at this point*) and the consequences.

    - The last sentence of previous wall of text leads me to a question: Do you really want a game where are you a pro at the very first moment you start playing the
game? With rising frequency it stands out that all the gamers outside there don`t want to play games where they`ve to develope some certain skills.. but why?
In my opinion there`s no reason to play a game for a long duration where no skill is needed? Or don`t you want to play games for months or years? I love it when
friends and me sitting together remembering the great games we really played for "ages", because we wanted to master the mechanics. If you
dont want such things, please don`t buy such games and spare the others who want that from your unleashed frustration inside the forums.

    - One thing I did wrong too in the past is getting to much hyped. Yeah I love the feeling of beeing anticipated for some games, discussing with friend about them before
they even release. But we`ve to bring us back down to earth frequently. In germany we like to say "They`re all only cooking with water!" and in the sense of this
try not to expect the jack of all trades game in every new release.

At the end, both sides have to get down to a constructive level. The publisher and developer want to make money.. but how long will they do when releasing technical
dung while milking the gaming community. And the gaming community want to get some great games - but remember that your, ofthen to high settled, expectations in sum are
very often forcing the marked to move more and more towards the things happened with For Honor and other games. Additionally salty reactions doesn`t get that better.
To both sides - behave and act more intelligent. I know it`s hard for the todays society.

To this effect I posted some of my thoughts to the factions war into the regarding thread - tell me how you like them!

Bye guys, stay fair and relax.

First I got to point out an error "...Have you unlearned to loose? Where`s your fighting spirit gone? Try to learn from looses and mistakes and take yourself with this experiences to another level..."
"loose" should be lose and "looses" should be losses. Common corrections I have done a lot of times, it has become a habit to fix every time I see them. Today with internet forums and other "quick release" outlets (social media), people rant and rave compulsively with no thought of consequences.

Nice to read a thoughtful post.
