feedback or suggestion: don't have swearword (at least kind that would be problematic for American broadcast TV and radio to air during the day) in the game's promotional material. especially if it's your own work that's advertised on the social channels and freely accessible (for example, not age restricted).

On Twitter there are tweets that link to YouTube videos ("Far Cry 5 - Meet Steve Byers, voice of Nick Rye" and "Far Cry 5 - Meet Murry Peeters, voice of Grace Armstrong") containing swearwords. In the forums the videos are embedded. Things you could have done includes editing the words out, choosing video clips where they don't swear, or telling them before being interviewed to not swear.

feedback or suggestion (not related to the above video): If you are a developer or someone else showing off the game for Ubisoft, don't swear. Don't be a Dan Hay. You people represent Ubisoft and could do better instead of using offensive language for attention.

After your goal of making money and some other important goals, you probably want as many people to like you when advertising (this includes game trailers, developers being interviewed and so on) and not to get offended.

What is the problem with swearing? Words don't have any magical powers - it's just a way to express an exclamation mark.

I've never been able to understand the issue with "bad words" It's perfectly ok to mindlessly kill people, blood and guts but you can't say a bad word.... get over it!

They're taboo. Sort of like nudity. More to do with culture instead of magical powers.

Killing is fake but using bad word is real. Violence can be disturbing (like watching surgery). Bad words can be offensive.

Like nudity? Bad word is real? What are you talking about? They just relay a concept, nothing tangible except sound waves and carbon dioxide.

You're switching topic now. Swearing is one thing and offending is another.

The person actually said that word. The violence shown is computer generated.

Swearing is using offensive language. Not everyone will ignore the concept of offensive language.
    Encarta World English Dictionary
    swear
use offensive word or words: to use blasphemous or obscene language, usually as an expression of strong feelings or with the intention of giving offense

The violence is computer generated? Who, in the video, was offended or harmed?

Dictionaries are not authorities, they just describe usages. By offensive i mean action that violates another person's identity (like racism). And i can't see any of that in the video.

comparing real versus fake. He in the video above and developers elsewhere actually said/posted that word, real. Computer generated violence, fake.

I was offended. It's probably not a good idea be offensive when showing off the game. The game may have offensive content but that doesn't mean it's okay for people showing off the game to be offensive.

Slurs are 1 category of offensive language. Other categories includes profanity (blasphemous language), sex, and bodily functions.
