Hey guys so i have tried everything, updating my drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the game as well as the anti cheat system and uplay. I have tried compatibility view, also un-linking the accounts and also disabling my anti virus system. You name it I've tried it and the game still wont start. anyone have anything else?

Can you please try the following troubleshooting:

Please make sure you are running Uplay and Ghost Recon Wildlands with administrator rights.

I had the same problem, and did the same things to resolve the problem, now i´m trying to re-install the game, but i noticed that the first time the game weighed 57.4 Gb in steam, and this time the weight is 57.9 Gb

I have se same Problem. The Game isn't working anymore. No Error Message and No Start...

I tried a lot. Reinstalled everything without Windows ... and nothing works...

Okay seems i found a solution for me.

Search in your Registry for an "NOEASYANTICHEAT" Entry ... delete it and restart your system...

Press windows key +R type regedit or go to C:Windows\regedit.exe once you open regedit, press CTRL+F and type whatever mk-seven ( i don't even have that entry)

The location of the Key was:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\N oEasyAntiCheat]

I just recently bought 2 copies of this game off steam, one for me and one for my dad. We both made Uplay accounts and did the exact same steps as each other. When my dad pressed play, his game started up perfectly, when I pressed play the game told me "Launch Error. Access is denied." and refuses to let me play. Does anyone have any Idea how to solve this?

Sorry for the multitude of near identical posts, but given the number of people suffering from the game start issues, I thought I would share my findings.

I had the game won't launch problem. For me the fix was probably an uncommon case. If you've ever installed through steam and then later via uplay, possibly with different licenses, you may want to check your install directory for a file called "distrubution.steam". If your license is through uplay and you are trying launch from there, make sure that file doesn't exist in the install.

It also doesn't hurt to check the log files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs. While the entries didn't jump right out and state the problem, it at least pushed me in a direction. More details in the linked post above.
